Claims (8)

  1. 원격 제어수신기가 동조되는 복수의 채널중 특정채널을 결정하기 위하여 원격 제어수신기(12)를 감시 및 제어하는 장치(10)에 있어서, 원격 제어장치(24)로 부터 상기 원격제어수신기(12)로 송신된 시청자 명령을 나타내는 사전 결정된 제어 신호를 수신하는 수단(28)과; 상기 수신 수단(28)에 응하여 상기 원격 제어수신기(12)로의 상기 사전 결정된 제어신호의 송신을 간섭하는 수단(30,44)가; 상기 수신수단(28)에 응하여 상기 사전 결정된 제어신호에 의해 표시된 시청자 명령을 식별하는 수단(30)과; 상기 식별수단(30)에 응하여 상기 식별된 시청자 명령을 표시하는 신호를 기억하는 수단(52)과; 상기 식별 수단(30)에 응하여 상기 원격 제어수신기의 동작을 제어하는 수단(48)을 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 원격제어수신기 감시 및 제어장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 식별수단(30)은 원격제어수신기(12)가 상기 기억된 시청자 명령으로부터 동조되는 최종 채널을 판정하는 수단을 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 원격 제어수신기 감시 및 제어장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제어수단(48)은 원격제어신호를 상기 원격제어 수신기에주기적으로 방송하고, 상기 원격 제어 신호는 상기 원격제어 수신기가 상기 최종 채널로 동조 되도록 명령하는 것을 특징으로 하는 원격 제어 수신기 감시 및 제어 장치
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 수신 수단(28)은 상기 간섭신호 발생수단(44)에 의해 발생된 간섭신호를 여파하여 상기 사전 결정된 제어 신호가 상기 식별 수단에 의해 처리될 수 있게 하는 수단(46)을 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 원격 제어수신기 감시 및 제어장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 간섭신호 발생수단(44)은 사전결정된 제어신호와 같은 주파수에서 간섭신호를 발생하는 수단을 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 원격 제어수신기 감시 및 제어장치.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 사전 결정된 제어신호는 직렬 데이타 형식이고, 상기 간섭신호 발생수단(44)은 직렬 데이타 송신을 분리하는 비송신 주기동안 간섭 신호를 발생하며, 이로써 사전결정된 제어신호의 직렬 데이타 형식의 원격 제어수신기에 판독불능으로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 원격 제어 수신기 감시 및 제어 장치.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 사전 결정된 제어신호의 송신 매체는 적외선, 초음파, 또는 무선주파수 인것을 특징으로 하는 원격 제어수신기 감시 및 제어장치.
  8. 원격 제어수신기(12)가 동조되는 복수의 채널중 하나를 결정하는 방법에 있어서, 신호 송신매체를 감시하는 단계와; 상기 송신매체에서 송신된 신호를 검지하는 단계와; 상기 송신 매체에서 송신된 신호를 검지하는 단계와; 상기 송신 매체에서 상기 신호의 송신을 방해하는 단계와; 상기 신호가 복수의 사전 결정된, 정보를 포함하는, 허용 가능한 신호들중 어느 하나와 일치하는지의 여부를 판정하는 단계와; 상기 사전 결정된 허용가능한 신호의 정보 내용을 유지하는 단계와; 상기 사전 결정된 허용가능한 신호의 정보 내용에 따라 원격제어 수신기를 제어하는 단계를 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 채널 결정방법.
