The present invention relates to a security thread inserted into a banknote and various securities paper for preventing counterfeiting and for special purposes.

Generally, in order to prevent counterfeit of securities paper, it is possible to judge the authenticity by inserting a watermark during paper manufacturing or by inputting anti-counterfeiting material and identifying it or by using plastic film, metal foil, metal on paper. Imitation production of paper is difficult by inserting anti-counterfeiting thread or ribbon of processed plastics.

On the other hand, to give anti-counterfeiting treatment, plastic films or metal foils inserted into banknotes are given magnetic, electroconductive, or fluorescent lamps with unique characteristics of the country of origin, or print unique characters on a narrow plastic film by micro printing method. It also gives more and more anti-counterfeiting effect.

Fluorescent silver lines imparting fluorescence to a plastic film are usually formed by printing colorless fluorescent pigments on a transparent film or a metal-bonded plastic film. When printing a colorless or white pigment on a metal film or metal-coated plastic film, gray or black color appears under transmitted light and is hardly visible under reflected light. When using a metal detection method, there is a drawback that interference occurs and difficulty in accurate detection occurs.

In addition, when printing characters on a transparent polyester film, the advantage is that it is possible to identify by inserting characters, the fluorescence is good when fluorescent coating and there is no problem in the detection, but it is difficult to distinguish by reflection or transmitted light. Thus, in order to solve the above two problems, the first gray ink is printed on the transparent plastic film without the metal coating or the metal adhesion film, and the fluorescent printing is performed on it, so that it does not interfere with the reflected or transmitted light. The technology which makes it easy to discriminate also came to be developed.

However, in this technique, the light absorption coefficients of the coating support of the colored and fluorescent prints are the same, and the gray print portion acts as a black body, and when the UV layer for fluorescent violet is irradiated to the fluorescent layer, the black body absorbs a considerable amount of light energy. It was found that an unusual phenomenon occurs that almost no fluorescence was generated since the energy was not transferred to the layer.

The present invention is to produce a silver line having a good fluorescence state and a bicolor effect, and no problem of detection as a machine, the following describes an example of the copper printing method and the ink manufacturing method for film printing.

In the conventional printing method, as shown in FIG. 1, a relatively thick colored ink prepared by a general method is printed on one side of a polyester film on a plate having a printing depth of 25-28 µ, and printed on one side. In this case, the method of forming a fluorescent print layer 4 by printing two-printed varnish for polyester film and a fluorescent ink made of fluorescent pigment on the printed layer 2 is performed. There is a drawback that the fluorescence effect is reduced by absorbing the fluorescence power of the printed printed fluorescent printed layer 4.

Thus, the present invention prints the dark colored ink layer 2 on the polyester film sheet 1 by 1 degree and then blocks the colored ink layer 2 printed by 1 degree thereon, as shown in FIG. The masking printing layer 3 is formed by printing masking printing, and the masking printing layer 3 is then colored with a known fluorescent ink to form the fluorescent printing layer 4 again. 2) to block the phenomenon of absorbing the fluorescence of the fluorescent printed layer 4 to prevent the phenomenon that the fluorescent effect of the fluorescent printed layer is reduced.

In this way, a colored printing layer is printed on the polyester film, and a masking printing layer is formed between the colored printing layer and the fluorescent printing layer on the outer side to produce a hidden line. When irradiated, the fluorescence power is significantly improved.

The masking ink to be printed on the colored layer is completely dissolved in PVA in water at approximately 60-70 ° C., ethanol is added while stirring the solution, and filtered. Titanium dioxide and ethanol are added and dispersed, and the resultant is filtered for over 48 hours.

Referring to the composition component ratio of such a masking ink composition according to the embodiment is as follows.
