Abstract

The method is for adjusting the apparatus by recording the information of differnet kinds at different levels in different parts of an inclined track. A magnetic tape (1) is guided by a guide (2) and wound around a rotary drum (3) to which rotary heads (4,5) have been attached. Also video information is recorded in a part corresponding to an angle (A1) and PCM audio information is recorded in a part corresponding to an angle (A2). Also the PCM audio information is recorded at a small level than that of the video information. In this state, recording and reproducion are executed by switching the rotary heads (4,5) by a switching pulse.
