Claims (6)

  1. 개스를 발생하는 전기화학적 수단(9)을 포함하여 전류를 발생시키는 구간부(6)를 한정하는 컨테이너(4)를 포함하는 축전지(electric storage battery)에 내장되며, 상기 전기화학적인수단(8)을 주변대기로부터 격리시키기위한 밀폐작용 및 상기 구간부(6)내에서 발생되는 개스의 내부압력이 소정의 초대기압을 초과하는 경우 상기 구간부(6)를 벤팅하기 위한 개방작용에 근거하여 상기구간부(6)와 작용가능하게 연결되고, 벤트챔버(18:92)를 한정하고 상기 챔버(18:92)내로 돌출된 밸브시이트(20:65:80:94) 및, 한쪽단부에서, 개스가 상기 구간부(6)로부터 상기 챔버(18:92)내로 유입되도록 하는 유입구(34:102)를 갖는 하우징(16:55:74:90): 상기 개스를 벤트챔버(18:92)로부터 주변대기로 배출하기위한 수단(32:51:106) 및 개방 및 밀폐작용이 일어나는 내부개스압을 제어하기위한 상기 유입구(34:102)를 에워싸는 상기챔버(18:92)내의 시일링부재(26:40:50:72:96)를 포함하는 축전지 벤트밸브 (14)에 있어서, 상기 밸브시이트(20:65:80:94)가 경사외부시일링표면(22)을 갖고: 상기 시일링부내(26:40:50:72:96)가 한쪽단부에서 유지되고 상기 내부 압력에 노출되는 내부환형표면을 제공하기 위하여 상기 한쪽단부로부터 확장하는 관형부를 갖는 환형중합체 스커트(24:44:58:78:104)및 상기 밸브가 밀폐되는 경우 상기경사 외부시일링표면(22)과 원주상으로 시일링맞물림되는 시일링에지(56:76:95)를 포함하고: 상기 스커트(24:44:58:78:104)가 상기 내부표면에 작용하는 상기내부 개스압력에 적절히 상응작용하여 (a) 상기 소정내부개스압력에서 근복적으로 균일하고 방사상으로 외부를 향해 플레어화되기 상기 시일링에지(56:76:95)와 상기 경사외부시일링표면(22) 사이의 환형갭(63)을 개방시키므로서 정상작동조건에서 비교적 작은양의 상기 개스를 상기챔버(18:92)내로 통과시키고 이로부터 주변대기로 통과시키도록하고, (b) 지수적으로 상기갭(63)의 회단면적으로 증가시키도록 더욱 플레어화되어 상기 소정압력이상의 상기 내부개스압력의 충분한 빌드-업없이 비정상작동조건에서 보다 충분한 양의 상기개스를 통과시키도록하고, 그리고(c)상기 내부개스압력이 상기소정압력의 대략 50% 또는 그 이상으로 강하할때 상기 밀폐 시일링 맞물림상태로 빠르게 복귀하도록 구성됨을 특징으로하는 축전지밴트밸브(battery bent balve).
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 유입구(34)가 상기 경사외부 시일링표면(22)을 갖는 상기밸브시이트(20)에 의해 에워싸이고: 상기하우징(16)의 다른 단부에서 상기 챔버(18)를 밀폐하기 위한 플러그(30:46)를 구비하고:그리고 상기 시일링부재(26:40)가 상기플러그(30:46)에서 상기챔버(18)내로 장치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 축전지벤트 밸브.
  3. 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 경사외부표면(22)이 근본적으로 원추형인것을 특징으로 하는 축전지벤트밸브.
  4. 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기플러그(30)가 상기하우징(16)으로부터 분리되고 상기하우징(16)내에서 상기밸브시이트(20)에 대해서 적절한 축 (다양한)운동을 하여 상기 경사외부표면(22) 상에서 상기스커트(24)의 상기시일링에지의 맞물림위치를 변화시키므로서 상기 소정압력을 변화시키도록 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 축전지 벤드밸브.
  5. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기스커트(44:58:78)의 두께가 상기시일링에지(56:76) 방향으로 감소됨을 특징으로 하는 축전지 벤드 밸브.
  6. 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기스커트(44)의 두께가 상기 시일링에지 방향으로 감소됨을 특징으로 하는 축전지 밴드 밸브.
