테레프탈산과 에틸렌글리콜을 에스테르화반응시키는 TPA법에 의하여 폴리에스테르를 제조함에 있어서, 에스테르화반응 시킬때 촉매로서 칼슘 또는 나트륨의 초산염중 어느하나를 테레프탈산에 대하여 0.05내지 0.12중량%를 첨가시킨다음, 에스테르화반응 종료 직전의 임의의 단계에서 트리메틸포스페이트를 별도로 혼합시켜서 됨을 특징으로하는 필름형성용 폴리에스테르의 제조방법.In preparing a polyester by TPA method of esterifying terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol, 0.05 to 0.12 wt% of either calcium or sodium acetate is added to the terephthalic acid as a catalyst during esterification.
