제1도는 플라스미드로 형질전환된 종두비루스-감염된 동물세포(CV-1셀라인)의 발현생성물이 항-A-형 봉입체 항체를 사용하여 검출되는 웨스턴법(Western blotting)의 결과를 나타내는 전기 영동의 사진인데, 여기서 레인 1은 종두 WR-감염된 세포의 생성물을 나타내며, 레인 2는 종두 WR 및 우두 CPRO6-공동 감염된 세포를 나타내며, 레인 3는 우두-감염된 세포의 생성물을 나타내고, 레인 4는 pUC18-형질전환된 세포의 생성물을 나타내며, 레인 5는 p0804-형질전환된 세포의 생성물을 나타내고, 레인 6은 pB6-형질전환된 세포의 생성물을 나타내며, 레인 7은 pB20-형질전환된 세포의 생성물을 나타내고, 레인 8은 pB23-형질전환된 세포의 생성물을 나타내며, 레인 9는 pC3-형질전환된 세포의 생성물을 나타내고, 레인 10은 pC6-형질전환된 세포의 생성물을 나타내는 것.

- 제1항에 있어서, 두창비루스는 우두비루스인 것을 특징으로 하는 유전자 단편.
- 두창비루스의 A-형 봉입체의 주단백질을 코드하는 유전자에 관련된 발현 조절영역으로 이루어지는 DNA 단편.
- 제3항에 있어서, 발현 조절영역은 우두비루스의 A-형 봉입체의 주단백질을 코드하는 유전자의 발현을 위한 조절유전자인 것을 특징으로 하는 DNA 단편.
- 두창비루스의 A-형 봉입체의 주단백질을 코드하는 영역과 이 코드영역을 위한 발현 조절영역으로 이루어지는 프라스미드.
- 제5항에 있어서, 두창비루스는 우두비루스인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스미드.
