제9도는 한 단부 내로 삽입된 키이를 갖는 한 플러그와 또다른 단부와 정렬된 한종래 기술의 플러그를 가지며, 그 양단에서 키 업수 슬롯을 갖는 선형 슬리브의 정면도.
Claims (9)
- 광섬유를 종단시키는데 적한한 플러그와, 상기 플러그에 어셈블되어 캡과 플러그간의 관련 회전 이동이 발생될 수 있도록 하는 캡을 포함하는 제1 및 제2플러그 조립체와,한 단부에 상기 제1플러그 조립체의 플러그를 수용하며, 또 다른 단부에 상기 제2플러그 조립체의 플러그를 수용하기 위하며, 그것의 대응메이팅 표면을 맞무는데 적합한 각 플러그의 메이팅 표면을 갖는 슬리브 수단을 구비하여 두 광섬유를 접속시키기 위한 광섬유 접속기에 있어서,상기 플러그 조립체 중 적어도 하나가 상기 적어도 하나의 플러그 조립체의 플러그의 단부를 향하 돌출하는 키수단을 포함하며,슬리브 수단은 적어도 하나의 그것의 단부에서 관련 회전 이동이 상기 적어도 하나의 플러그 조립체의 상기 캡과 접속기를 어셈블시키는 상기 슬리브 수단간에 행해질때, 상기 슬리브 수단과 상기 적어도 하나의 플러그 조립체의 플러그간에 의도 되지 않은 관련회전을 방지하도록, 상기 슬리브 수단의 한 단부에서의 노치내에 위치되어지도록 선택된 상기 적어도 하나의 플러그 조립체의 키이 수단을 갖는 노치를 제공하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 접속기.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 플러그 조립체의 각각은 키 수단을 포함하며, 상기 슬리브 수단은 그것의 각 단부에 상기 슬리브 수단의 한 단부에서의 노치에 위치되어지도록 선택된 상기 제1플러그 조립체의 키수단을 갖는 노치를 제공하며, 상기 제2플러그 조립체의 키수단은 상기 슬리브 수단의 다른 단부에서의 노치에 위치되어지도록 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 접속기.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 하우징내에 위치되도록 선택된 상기 슬리브 수단을 갖는 하우징을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 접속기.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 플러그 조립체 각각의 상기 캡이 스레드부를 포함하고, 상기 하우징이 각각 마주하는 단부에서 스레드부를 포함하며, 노치를 갖는 플러그의 키수단의 코포레이션이 플러그와 연관된 캡의 스레드부가 상기 하우징의 스레드단부와 맞물려 회전할 때, 상기 슬리브와 연관된 플러그의 의도 되지 않은 회전을 방지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 접속기.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 각 플러그 조립체의 플러그는 절두 동축형 단부와 거기에 연결된 원통형부를 포함하며, 상기 절두동축형부는 상기 캡에 걸쳐 연장하며, 상기 원통형부는 상기 플러그를 상기 슬리브 수단내로 바이어스 시키도록 위치한 압축 스프링을 가지며, 상기 스프링의 각 단부는 상기 플러그에 대해 위치한 워셔를 맞물고, 보유링이 상기 절두 동축형부에 인접한 상기 원통형부에 대해 위치하여 워셔중 하나 와 맞물리는 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 접속기.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 플러그 각각에 대하여 위치한 환상형부재가 상기 플러그의 작은 직경 단부를 향하여 상기 플러그의 수직축을 따르는 방향으로 연장하는 키수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 접속기.
- 제6항에 있어서,각 플러그의 보유링이 플러그의 절두 동축형부의 작은 직경 단부를 향하여 돌출하는 키를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 접속기.
- 제6항에 있어서,플러그의 절두 동축형 단부에 인접한 각 플러그의 워셔가 플러그의 절두 동축형부의 작은 직경 단부를 향하여 돌출하는 키를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 접속기.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 하우징이 마주하는 단부에 공동을 포함하며, 상기 공동의 각각은 상기 플러그중 하나의 절두 동축형 단부를 수용하도록 선택되고, 상기 각 공동의 인입부로부터 리세스된 스레드부를 포함하는 벽에 의해 한정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광섬유 접속기.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
