Claims (5)

  1. 수신된 다채널 패킷 데이타 스트림을 통신선과 인터페이싱하는 데이타 패킷 정렬기(202)에 있어서, 제 1 메모리(203) 내에 소정의 크기보다 크거나 또는 동등한 다채널 데이타 패킷을 기억하고 연관된 채널계수기 수단이 0가 아닐 때 상기 제 1 메모리 내에 상기 소정의 크기보다 다채널 데이타 패킷을 기억하는 수단(216)과, 상기 제 1 메모리내에 기록된 각 데이타 패킷에 대하여 상기 연관된 채널 계수기 수단을 증가하고 상기 제 1 메모리로부터의 판독된 각 데이타 패킷에 대하여 상기 연관된 채널 계수기 수단을 감소함으로써 상기 제 1 메모리내에 기록된 데이타 패킷의 수를 각 채널에 대해 계수하는 수단(205)을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 패킷 정렬기.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 기억수단은 연관된 채널 계수기 수단이 0인 때 제 2 메모리 내에 상기 소정의 크기보다 적은 상기 데이타 패킷을 기록하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 패킷 정렬기.
  3. 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 계수기 수단은 또한 상기 제 2 메모리 내에 기록된 모든 데이타 패킷을 계수하고 각 데이타 패킷이 상기 제 2 메모리로부터 판독될 때 감소되는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 패킷 정렬기.
  4. 통신선에 의해 전송하기 위하여 수신된 다채널 패킷 데이타 스트림을 기억하는 방법에 있어서, 제 1 메모리 내에 소정의 크기보다 크거나 또는 동등한 다채널 데이타 패킷을 기억하고 연관된 채널 계수기 수단이 0가 아닐 때 상기 제 1 메모리 내에 상기 소정의 크기보다 적은 다채널 데이타 패킷을 기억하는 단계와, 상기 제 1 메모리 내에 기록된 각 데이타 패킷에 대하여 상기 연관된 채널 계수기 수단을 증가하고 상기 제 1 메모리로부터 판독된 각 데이타 패킷에 대하여 상기 연관된 채널 계수기 수단을 감소함으로써 상기 제 1 메모리 내에 기록된 데이타 패킷의 수를 각 채널에 대해 계수하는 단계를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 패킷 기억방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 기억단계는 연관된 채널계수기 수단이 0인데 제2메모리내에 상기 소정의 크기보다 적은 상기 데이타 패킷을 기록하는 단계를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 데이타 패킷 기억방법.
