제 1 도는 3.5인치(약 8.9㎝ ; 이하 CGS 단위 생략함) 마이크로플로피 디스크 드라이브(microfloppy disc drive)내에 데이터를 기억시키기 위해 사용된 기존 매체인 표준 3.5인치 마이크로플로피 디스크 카셋트의 저면도.
제 2 도는 3.5인치 마이크로플로피 디스크 드라이브 내부에 끼워지고 디스크 드라이브 헤드에 관련하여 테이프를 레지스터링(registering)하기 위한 장치를 포함하는 테이프 카트릿지 부분(부분 A로 표시하였음)을 덮개가 제거된 상태에서 도시한 평면도.

Claims (15)

  1. 테이프와 디스크 드라이브 내의 디스크 드라이브 헤드 사이로 데이터를 전송하기 위한 테이프 카트릿지에 있어서, 테이프와 디스크 드라이브 헤드 사이로 데이터를 전송하기 위한 테이프, 테이프와 디스크 드라이브 헤드 사이로 데이터가 전송될 수 있는 위치 L에서 테이프의 일부를 레지스터하기 위한 장치, 위치 L을 지나서 테이프를 이송하기 위한 장치 및 테이프를 저장하기 위한 장치로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 테이프 카트릿지.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 레지스터 장치가 테이프 카트릿지가 디스크 드라이브내에 부하될 때 디스크 드라이브와 테이프 카트릿지를 정렬시키기 위한 장치 및 테이프 카트릿지가 디스크 드라이브와 정렬될 때 테이프가 위치L로 레지스터 되도록 테이프 카트릿지내에 테이프를 안내하기 위한 장치로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 테이프 카트릿지.
  3. 제 2 항에 있어서, 테이프 카트릿지가 디스크 드라이브내에 부하될 때 각각의 구멍에 디스크 드라이브 내의 관련된 펙이 끼워져서 디스크 드라이브와 테이프 카트릿지를 정렬하도록 배치된 최소한 2개의 구멍을 포함한 저부를 갖고 있고 테이프를 둘러싸고 있는 보호 덮개를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 테이프 카트릿지.
  4. 제 3 항에 있어서, 모토 샤프트를 갖고 있는 디스크 드라이브와 함계 사용하기 위해, 덮개의 저부내의 한 구멍이 모터 샤프트에 끼워지도록 되어 있어, 모터 샤프트가 테이프 카트릿지를 위치 L과 정렬하는데 사용된 한 디스크 드라이브 펙으로서 작용하는 것을 특징으로 하는 테이프 카트릿지.
  5. 제 2 항에 있어서, 테이프 카트릿지가 디스크 드라이브내에 삽입될 수 있는 부분A를 포함하고, 부분A 내에서 테이프가 평면 지역 내에 함유되는 것을 특징으로 하는 테이프 카트릿지.
  6. 제 5 항에 있어서, 부분A 내의 안내장치가 다수의 트위스트 테이프 안내 부재로 구성되어, 테이프의 이송 방향을 180°변화시키고 테이프의 평면에 대한 수직선을 180°회전시키도록 테이프가 각각의 트위스트 테이프 안내 부재 주위에 감김으로써, 테이프가 부분A를 통해 디스크형 지역내로 이송되어 부분A가 디스크 드라이브내에 삽입되기에 적합하게 디스크 형태로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 테이프 카트릿지.
  7. 제 1항에 있어서, 저장 장치가 무한 루우프 테이프 내에 테이프를 저장하기 위한 장치로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 테이프 카트릿지.
  8. 제 1 항에 있어서, 저장 장치가 테이프를 사이에 감은 제 1 스풀 및 제 2 스풀로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 테이프 카트릿지.
  9. 제 1 항에 있어서, 테이프 이송 장치가 테이프를 구동시키기 위해 테이프와 접촉되어 있는 장치 및 테이프를 구동시키기 위한 장치에 모터로부터 전력을 결합시키는 연동부재로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 테이프 카트릿지.
  10. 제 9 항에 있어서, 연동 부재가 테이프를 위치 L을 지나서 이송하는 방향으로 반전시키기 위한 클러치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 테이프 카트릿지.
  11. 제 9 항에 있어서, 모터를 갖고 있는 디스크 드라이브와 함께 사용하기 위해, 연동 부재가 테이프를 구동시키기 위한 장치로 디스크 드라이브 모터로부터 전력을 이송하도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 테이프 카트릿지.
  12. 제 9 항에 있어서, 테이프 카트릿지 모터를 포함하고, 연동부재가 결합된 모터가 이 테이프 카트릿지 모터인 것을 특징으로 하는 테이프 카트릿지.
  13. 제 9 항에 있어서, 구동 장치가 테이프와 접촉되어 있고 테이프를 구동시키는데 필요한 전력을 제공하도록 연동부재에 의해 모터에 연결된 캡스턴으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 테이프 카트릿지.
  14. 제 9 항에 있어서, 구동 장치가 연동부재에 의해 모터에 결합되고 서로간에 테이프를 감도록 모터 회전에 응답하며 테이프 저장용 장치로서 작용하는 제 1 스풀 및 제 2 스풀로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 테이프 카트릿지.
