Plugs and sockets for connecting arc welders

1 is an overall perspective view of the present invention.

2 is a cross-sectional view of the present invention.

FIG. 2A is a cross-sectional view of FIG. 2A-A. FIG.

3 is a cross-sectional view of a conventional structure.

3A is a cross-sectional view taken along the line A-A of FIG.

The present invention is intended to improve the plugs and sockets used to connect the cable on the holder side and the cable on the welder with a large number of fine copper wires when the area to be welded is far from the welder. It is about. Due to the nature of welding work, this cable should be connected and disconnected frequently. If the contact is incomplete, heat may be generated due to the flow of high-pressure current, and the work may not be performed, and the external rubber film may melt and cause a safety accident. As shown in FIG. 3, a plug and a socket for a cable connection of a conventional arc welder is a conical connector separate from a socket (1), a plug (2), and a connecting bolt pipe (3) (3 '). 4) (4 '), and the connection bolt pipe (3) (3') and the conical connector (4) (4 ') is a cable (5) (5') consisting of fine copper wires innumerable current flowing from the welder It passes through the socket 1 from the socket 1 to the plug 2 and prevents the cables 5 and 5 'from being pulled out of the socket 1 and the plug 2. However, in the conventional connection method, the conical connector 4, 4 'is separately inserted into the inner hollow of the socket 1 and the plug 2 to press the cable 5, 5' consisting of a myriad of fine copper wires. Since the conical connector 4 and 4 'contact only the edges of the socket 1 and the plug 2, the contact area is small and the cables 5 and 5' are connected to the conical connector 4 ( 4 ') is pushed by the pushing force, so the steep inclination of the conical connector 4, 4' causes the cable 5, 5 'to be contacted while being forced by the conical connector 4, 4'. Heat is generated, and the ends of the connecting bolt pipes 3 and 3 'are sharp and the cables 5 and 5' composed of a myriad of fine copper wires are broken and broken.

In addition, since the outer diameter of the socket 1 is about +0.1 mm looser than the inner diameter of the plug 2, it is coupled by fitting so that a poor contact can cause sparking and heat generation. Pressing the central portion of the protrusion to form a crimp by pressing the socket (1) and plug (2) in the point contact state is not a surface contact is about 600 amps of current flows, so there is a drawback that generates a lot of heat. And since the socket (1) and the plug (2), the conical connector (4) (4 ') is composed of a separate process when manufacturing, there is also a lot of labor costs.

The present invention is intended to eliminate such drawbacks, the larger the contact area of the connection at the time of wire connection, the less heat is generated, thereby creating a structure with a large contact area. Hereinafter, the subject matter of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

A conical groove 10 is formed in the center of the body of the plug 9 in which the conical connector 7 inserted into the connecting nut tube 6 and the male screw 8 are integrally formed, and is also inserted into the connecting nut tube 11. Incision grooves (15) and (15 ') are formed in two bodies of the socket (14) in which the connector (12) and the male screw (13) are integrated. In this way, the cables 16 and 16 'are mechanically fixed and electrically connected to each other.

Reference numeral 17 is a fixed bolt. That is, when the plug 9 is inserted into the inner diameter of the socket 14 by making the outer diameter of the plug 9 slightly larger than the inner diameter of the socket 14, the plug 9 is elastically outward and the socket 14 is It gives elasticity inward and is in surface contact with each other in close contact with each other so that the flow of current is good and there is no heat generation. In addition, after the plug 9 and the socket 14 are combined, the fixing bolt 17 is fixed to prevent the case from falling out and the conical connector 7 and 12 are integrally formed with the plug 9 and the socket 14. Since it is one, it is easy to manufacture and handle mechanically, and the contact is omitted so that the conductivity is good and there is no heat generation. In addition, since the cable 16, 16 'is pushed and tightened with the nut pipe 6 and 11 instead of the bolt pipe, a large amount of copper core wire is in close contact with the conical surface to improve the conductivity of this part, and thus there is no heat generation. The inside of the nut pipe is machined into a tapered surface to prevent the copper core wire from being cut during screwing.

Therefore, the improved plugs and sockets of the present invention not only omit the parts mechanically, but also maintain strong and elastic contact, and many areas are electrically contacted to generate various effects such as preventing heat generation and safety accidents of the welding cable.
