제1도는 음극 집전기를 포함한 알루미늄 환원전지의 종단면도이다.
제2도는 제1도의 2-2선을 따라 절단한 횡단면도이다.

Claims (11)

  1. 포트라이닝(potlining) 및 그내 매립된 적어도 하나의 음극집전기를 갖고 있는 알루미늄 환원전지에서, 전지바닥이 적어도 하나의 하강부(depression)를 갖고 있으며, 음극집전기의 한쪽 말단은 이 하강부내에 놓여 있으며 다른쪽 말단은 외부 전원에 연결되어 있으며, 이 하강부 또는 각 하강부는 금속습윤성 물체로 충전되어 있으며 그 간극은 전지가 조작중일때 용융 알루미늄으로 충전되며 전해질이나 슬러지의 유입을 맞는 크기를 갖고 있는, 알루미늄 전해전지.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 전지바닥에 있는(각)하강부가 길다란 골(trough)형태인 전지.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 각 골이 전지 중심의 수직축으로 부터 방사상으로 전지의 수평자장에 수직으로 뻗어있는 전지.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 전지 바닥에 있는(각)하강부가 전지 수평자장에 대해 수직방향으로 길며 그내 놓여진 적어도 하나의 음극집전기를 갖고 있는 전지.
  5. 제1항 내지 4항중 어느 하나에서 음극집전기의 상단이 하강부 바닥으로 부터 돌출되어 있으나 전지바닥 보다는 낮게 위치해 있으며 금속습윤성 물체로 된 적어도 하나의 층으로 덮혀있는 전지.
  6. 제1항 내지 5항중 어느 하나에서 다수의 음극집전기가 전지바닥위에 분포된 하강부내에 배열되어 있으며 조작중 각 집전기의 전류 부하량이 1-10KA인 전지.
  7. 제1항 내지 6항중 어느 하나에서 금속습윤성 물체가 직경 5-20mm인 볼(ball)형태인 전지.
  8. 제1항 내지 7항중 어느 하나에서 금속습윤성 물체가 이붕화티탄으로 되어 있는 전지.
  9. 제1항 내지 8항중 어느 하나에서 전지바닥이 전기 비전도성 물질로 되어 있는 전지.
  10. 제1항 내지 9항중 어느 하나에서 전지바닥에 있는 하강부 또는 각 하강부가 200mm의 깊이를 가지며 그 외측끝의 횡단거리가 깊이의 적어도 2배가 되는 전지.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 전지바닥에 있는 하강부의 깊이가 30-100mm이며 외측끝의 횡단면의 길이가 그 깊이의 적어도 2배가 되는 전지.
