종래의 캐리지는 캐리지에 고정된 브라켓 베이스(bracket base) 하단의 양끝에 구멍을 만들어 그 구멍에 원통형의 듀-베어링(DU-bearing)을 끼운 후 캐리지의 레일(rail)이 듀-베어링의 구멍속에서 미끄럼 마찰을 하며 좌, 우로 이송되도록 구성되어 있기 때문에 브라켓 베이스에 설치된 듀-베어링의 중심선이 일치하지 않게 되면 캐리지를 정확하고 원활하게 이송시킬 수 없게 되고, 또한 듀-베어링과 레일이 미끄럼 마찰운동을 하기 때문에 캐리지의 연속적인 이송에 의해 심한 마찰력이 발생하여 듀-베어링의 파손되기 쉽고 캐리지를 분해할 필요가 있을 경우 레일을 듀-베어링에서 먼저 빼낸 후 분해하여야 하는 등 결점이 있었다. 또 상기 장치와는 달리 레일의 원주면에 3개의 베어링을 접속하여 이 베어링에 의해 캐리지가 이송될 수 있도록 한 장치가 알려져 있으나 이러한 장치는 캐리지를 원활히 이송시킬 수 있는 잇점이 있는 반면 캐리지의 분해시에는 레일과 접속하고 있는 베어링을 별도 공구에 의해 제거한 수 캐리지를 분해하여야 하는 불편함이 있었다.Conventional carriages make holes at both ends of the bracket base fixed to the carriage, insert cylindrical DU-bearings into the holes, and then the rails of the carriages Because it is configured to move left and right by sliding friction at the center, if the center line of the du-bearing installed on the bracket base does not coincide, the carriage cannot be moved accurately and smoothly.
