이와 같이 형성된 본 고안은 펌프를 처음 작동할 경우 회전축(3)에 연결된 임팰러(4)가 와권실(2)에서 고속 회전하게 되면 흡입관(5)으로 부터 공기를 빨아 들인후 오물등 고형물이 섞인 폐수가 와권실(2)로 흡입되어 자흡탱크(6)를 통해 토출 되는 것인데, 본 고안은 펌프를 처음 작동할 때에는 와권실(2)에 폐수가 충만되면서 공고실(8)에 약간의 폐수가 들어가게 되나, 이때 임펠러(4)가 계속하여 고속 회전을 하게 되면 와권실(2)의 폐수가 강력히 토출되면서 임펠러(4) 후미에는 마이너스 압력이 생기게 되고 이 부압에 의해 공기실(8)에 들어온 약간의 폐수가 공기와 함께 와권실(2)로 빨려나가 토출되면서 더 이상의 폐수가 들어가지 못하고 공기실(8)은 진공상태로 변하는 것이다.When the pump is operated for the first time, the present invention formed as described above, when the impeller 4 connected to the rotary shaft 3 rotates at high speed in the spiral winding chamber 2, sucks air from the suction pipe 5, and solids such as dirt are mixed.
