UHF 전자 튜너
도면은 본 발명의 실시예를 도시한 UHF전자튜 너의 회로도.
본 발명은 텔레비젼 수상기등에 사용되는 UHF 전자 튜너에 관한 것이며, 특히 집중정수형(集中定數形) 동조회로와 분포정수형 동조회로를 병용하므로서 양자의 이점을 살리는 것과 동시에 결점을 보상하도록 한것에 관한 것이다.
종래의 이런 종류의 전자튜너는 일반적으로 입력회로, RF 증폭회로, 믹서회로 및 국부발진회로를 가지고 각 회로 사이를 단간동조(段間同調) 회로로 결합한 구성으로 되어 있다.
이와 같은 전자 튜너는 동조회로의 동조방식에 의하여 집중정수형과 분포정수형으로 대별된다. 집중 정수형은 프린트 기관위에 구성할 수가 있으므로 양산성이 우수한 장점이 있으나 동조회로의 손실이 크기 때문에, 특히 입력회로에 있어서 NF(잡음지수)의 약화를 초래하기 쉽고 또 안테나의 입력임피던스가 불평형형(不平衡型)인 75Ω이기 때문에, 이것을 평형형의 200내지 300Ω로 변환하는 것이 대단히 어렵다는 결점을 가지고 있다.
또 분포정수형에는 스트립라인형과 반동축형이 있고 스트립라인형은 프린트 기관상에 구성할 수가 있으므로 양산성이 우수한 장점이 있으나, 안테너 입력임피던스가 75Ω의 불평형형이기 때문에 그 변환이 어렵다는 결점을 가지고 있다.
반동축형은 금속케이스내를 칸막이판으로 4개로 칸막이하여 각 실내에 각각의 회로를 구성하고, 각 회로간을 중심도체를 사용한 동조회로로로 결합하도록한 것으로서 가장 널리 사용되고 있다.
이 반동축형은 낮은 손실로, 입력 임피던스가 평형, 불평형, 다같이 자유롭게 선택할 수가 있는 우수한 장점을 가지고 있으나, 중심도체가 공중배선이 되는 등의 구조적인, 제약에서 양산성이 나쁘고, 따라서 코스트가 높아진다는 결점을 가지고 있다. 또 상기 집중정수형 스트립라인형의 경우, 입력 임피던스의 300Ω→75Ω 변환기로서 스트립라인을 사용한 바룬이 종종 사용되지만 이 경우 넓은 주파수에 걸쳐서 평형-불평형비를 양호하게 보존하는 것이 어렵고 안테나에서 수상기까지의 피이터로 UHF대(帶), VHF대등의 방해파를 받기 쉽다. 이 때문에 입력회로에 고역필터를 필요로 한다.
본 발명은 상술의 실정에 감안하여 집중정수형과 분포정수형을 조합하여 사용하므로서 상기의 각 결점을 제거하도록한 것이다.
이하 본 발명의 실시예를 도면을 참조하여 설명하겠다. 반동축형은 상술한 바와 같이 저손실, 입력임피던스설정의 자유등의 이점이 얻어지지만, 본 발명은 이들의 이점이 모두 입력회로만에 관계되는 것이라는 데 착안하여 입력회로에만 반동축형 동조회로를 사용하여 이것에 안테나 코일을 결합시켜 다른 RF 증폭회로, 믹서회로, 및 국부발진회로의 단간 동조회로를 집중정수형 혹은 스트립라인형으로 한 것이다.
이와 같이 하므로서 종래의 모든 동조 회로를 집중정수형으로 한것에 있어서, 상술한 입력회로의 고손실 임피던스 변환의 곤란함등의 결점을 제거할 수가 있다. 이와 동시에 다른 동조회로를 프린트기판상에 구성할 수가 있으므로, 양산성이 우수하다는 장점을 살릴수가 있다.
또 집중정수형 혹은 스트립라인형의 입력회로에 필요하였든 고역필터를 생략할 수가 있다. 즉, 집중정수형 및 분포동수형의 결점이 제거되어 장점만을 살릴수가 있다.
도면은 입력회로에 반동축형 동조회로를 사용하고 후단의 회로에 집중정수형 동조회로를 사용한 경우의 실시예를 도시한 것이다.
도시의 UHF 전자 튜너는 입력회로(1), RF 증폭회로(2), 믹사회로(3) 및 국부발진회로(4)로 구성되어 있고, 본 실시예에서는 입력회로(1)의 동조회로(5)를 반동축형으로 구성하고, 다른 동조회로(6),(7),(8)를 집중정수형으로 구성하고 있다. 이들의 동조회로(6),(7),(8)과 RF 증폭회로(2), 믹서회로(3) 및 국부발진회로(4)를 프린트기판상에 구성하고 있다.
입력회로(1)의 반동축형동조회로(5)는 중심도체(9), 코일 L1, 바리켑(10) 및 콘덴서 C1,C2로 구성되어 있고 중심도체(9)에 안테나입력단자(11a),(11b)를 가지는 안테나코일 L2가 결합되어 있다. RF 증폭회로(2)는 4극 MOS-FET(12) 등으로 구성되고 그 제1그리드에 입력회로(1)에서 동조된 RF 입력신호가 가해짐과 동시에 제2그리드에 단자(13)으로부터 AGC 전압이 가해지고, 다시 전원단자(14)에 가해지는 전원전압 +B에 의하여 제1그리드의 바이어스, 전압과 드래인 전극의 전압이 공급되고 있다. 동조회로(6),(7)은 바리켑(15),(16) 콘덴서 C3내지 C8, 코일, L3내지 L9등으로 구성되어 있다. 믹서회로(3)은 믹서 다이오드 (17)등으로 구성되고, 그 IF 출력신호는 인접채널트랩(18),(19)를 통하여 출력단자(20)에서 취출된다. 동조회로 (8)은 바리켑(21), 콘덴서 C9내지 C11, 코일 L10, L11등으로 구성되어 있다.
국부발진회로(4)는 트랜지스터(22) 등으로 구성되고 전원전압 +B가 그 콜랙터 및 베이스 바이어스회로에 가해진다. 또 바리켑(10),(15),(16),(21)에는 단자(23)에 의하여 선국된 채널에 따른 전압 VC가 가해지고, 이 전압 VC에 의하여 각 바리켑의 용량이 변하므로서 동조회로(5)내지 (8)의 동조 주파수를 바꿀 수 있도록 되어 있다.
상기 구성에 의하면 안테나에서 입력된 신호가 단자(11a),(11b)에서 안테나코일 L2를 거쳐 중심도체(9)에 유기되고 동조회로(5)에서 동조가 된다. 이 동조에 의하여 취출된 RF 신호는 RF 증폭회로(2)의 MOSFET(12)에 의하여 AGC 전압에 따른 이득으로 증폭되고, 증폭된 RF 신호는 동조회로(6),(7)를 통하여 믹서회로(3)에 가해진다.
한편 국부발진회로(4)의 발진출력은 동조회로(8)을 통하여 선국된 채널에 따른 주파수로 취출되고 믹서회로(3)에 가해져서 믹서다이오드(17)에 의하여 RF 신호와 혼합된다.
믹서회로(3)의 출력은 트랩(18),(19)를 통하여 출력단자(20)에서 IF 신호로 취출된다.
이상의 실시예에서는, 동조회로(6) 내지 (8)를 집중정수형으로 하고 있으나, 이들을 스트립라인형으로 하여도 좋다. 또 종래의 집중 정수형 혹은 스트립라인형의 전자 튜너는 시일드용의 케이스가 필요하게 되므로 본 발명의 경우는 이 케이스를 이용하여 중심도체(9)를 결합시키도록 하면 입력회로(9)를 결합시키도록 하면 입력회로(1) RF회로(2), 믹서회로(3), 국부발진회로(4) 및 동조회로(5) 내지(8) 등의 모든 회로를 동일의 프린트기판상에 구성할 수가 있다.
본 발명에 의하면, 입력회로의 동조회로를 중심도체를 사용한 분포정수형으로 하고, 다른 단간 동조회로를 집중 정수형 또는 스트립라인형으로 하므로서 모든 회로를 동일기판에 배제할 수가 있다. 따라서 저손실로 입력임피던스의 정합(整合)이 용이함과 동시에, 고역필터등을 생략한 간단한 구성의 입력회로를 가지고, 더욱이 양산성이 우수한 전자 튜너를 얻을 수가 있다.

  1. 본문에 설명하고 도면에 예시한 바와 같이, 입력회로에 있어서의 동조회로를 안테나코일과 결합되는 중심도체를 사용한 분포정수형 동조회로로 구성함과 동시에 RF 증폭회고, 믹서회로 및 국부발진회로의 각 단각동조회로를 집중정수형 또는 스트립라인형 동조회로로 구성한 것을 특징으로 하는 UHF 전자 튜너.
