Disintegration of gelatin capsules contg. macrolides antibiotics was increased by adding >=1% of protein such as casein soyprotein, skimmed milk, and collagen to the materials to be encapsulated. Thus, a mixture contg. macrolides, polyethyleneglycol and casein was encapsulated in hard gelatin capsules. The encapsulated product was stored at 40≰C for 2 month. The disintegradation time in artificial gastric juice was 3-7 min for the product and 20-22 min for controls with out casein.
