Abstract

The present invention relates to a patent document search server and method, and more particularly, to a patent document search server and method capable of generating a custom file name according to a user's setting when downloading a patent document.

As patents become more important as an intangible asset, the use of patent search services is also increasing. A patent document refers to a publication publication published after a certain period of time or a registration publication published after a patent application document has been registered.

A conventional patent document search service is provided in such a way that when a user accesses a patent search site and inputs detailed search items, a patent document corresponding thereto is searched. However, in the case of such a conventional service, when selecting and downloading one or more documents among searched patent documents, the name of the file is stored only with the same number as the patent application number stored in the patent search server, so that the user can intuitively grasp information about a plurality of patent documents. Referring to FIG. 1 , a patent document search server 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention may be connected to a plurality of user terminals 200 through a wired or wireless internet network.

In this specification, the patent document search server 100 of the present invention may be configured by one or a plurality of servers, and hereinafter, one server will be described as an example.

However, the patent document search server 100 is not limited to being composed of a single computer, and embodiments in which sub-components are composed of separate servers are also possible.

The patent document search server 100 refers to a server computer that provides a website or application for providing a patent document search service to a plurality of user terminals 200 through a network, and the user terminal 200 refers to a terminal such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop computer, or computer used by a user to search for patent documents.

The website or application provided by the patent document search server 100 to the user terminal 200 may be implemented in the form of program instructions that can be executed through various computer means and recorded on a computer readable medium. The computer readable medium is composed of program instructions, data files, data structures, etc. alone or in combination. Program instructions recorded on the medium may be those specially designed and configured for the present invention or those known and usable to those skilled in computer software.

The patent document search server 100 may include a storage unit 110, a search unit 120, an output unit 130, a download setting value management unit 140, and a download processing unit 150.

The storage unit 110 serves to store patent document data including text information corresponding to a plurality of fields of a plurality of patent documents to be searched.

Basically, the patent documents stored by the storage unit 100 are published patent publications or registered patent information provided by the intellectual property offices of each country, and such information can be collected in various formats such as Word and PDF from websites provided by the intellectual property offices of each country.

The patent document search server 100 may extract text information corresponding to all contents, convert it into a database, and store it in order to enable a user to search based on the contents of patent documents and contents of various fields.

The search unit 120 serves to search patent documents corresponding to the search conditions among patent document data stored in the storage unit 110 according to search conditions received from the user terminal 200 .

The output unit 130 serves to output the patent document searched by the search unit 120 to the user terminal 200 .

The download setting value management unit 140 provides a user interface for setting the name of a download document including field information of a patent document, examination processing status information or right status information corresponding to each patent document, and user input field information to the user terminal 200, and serves to store the download setting value input from the user terminal 200.

At this time, the field information of the patent document means a plurality of field information included in the patent document as described above, and the examination processing status information and the rights status information refer to the examination processing status and rights status information related to each patent document.

User input field information refers to a field directly input by a user separately from a patent document.

The download processing unit 150 includes text corresponding to at least one of field information, examination processing status information, rights status information, and user input field information of the patent document according to the download setting value and automatically creates a name for the download document.

When the user sets download setting values using the user interface displayed on the screen of the user terminal 200, the patent document search server 100 receives and stores download setting value information from the user terminal 200 (S320).

Next, the patent document search server 100 receives download request information of the selected document from the user terminal 200 (S330), automatically creates a download document name upon download according to the stored download settings (S340), and completes the download of the document to the user terminal 200 (S350).

A patent document search method provided by the patent document search server 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 4 to 14 .

4 to 13 are examples of a user interface capable of setting a name of a download document provided to a screen of a user terminal by a patent document search server according to an embodiment of the present invention.

FIG. 4 is a user interface screen allowing the patent document search server 100 to set the name of a download document displayed on the screen of the user terminal 200 .

A user interface screen may be provided in the form of a pop-up window, and a plurality of columns are provided so that items to be included in the name of the download document may be selected in order.

In each column, a field is placed where you can select 'large category', 'sub category', and 'user input text'.

Referring to FIG. 5, when the user selects the 'select major category' field in the first column, a screen showing a list that allows the user to select 'patent document field', 'user field', and 'current information field' is shown.

In FIG. 11, when the user selects 'current status information field' as a major category and selects a sub-category field in the fourth column, a screen is displayed displaying a list from which users can select 'examination status information' and 'right status information'.

After the user sets and saves the download settings in the same manner as in FIGS. 4 to 13, when the user requests to download the selected patent document, the patent document search server 100 displays a name setting screen for download as shown in FIG. 14 on the screen of the user terminal 200.

On the screen as shown in FIG. 14, the user can modify the name of 'file name' as desired, and the 'file name' is automatically generated as the patent document search server 100 sets it according to the download settings.

FIG. 14 shows that the file name 'No. 10-1234567_Patent document search server and patent document search method using the same_Kildong Hong_registration_DP220411' was automatically generated based on the download settings set in FIG. 13 based on the patent document shown in FIG. 3.

Therefore, the user can save the patent document with the desired name simply by pressing the 'save' icon without changing the name, since the name is automatically created in a desired method according to the download setting value.

In FIG. 14 , one document is downloaded as an example, but in the case of selecting and downloading a plurality of patent documents, the names of the plurality of patent documents may be generated and downloaded according to the download settings in the same manner.

Of course, in the case of downloading a plurality of documents as above, the pop-up window for changing the name of each document or saving the storage folder may be omitted as shown in FIG. 14 .

The patent document search server and the patent document search method using the patent document search server of the present invention set the name of the file in advance in a manner desired by the user when downloading in the above manner, and automatically generate and store the names of one or a plurality of patent documents according to the set value, thereby maximizing work efficiency.

In addition, the patent document search server 100 of the present invention can maximize work efficiency by storing download setting values set by the user as templates in the server 100 and then calling and using the templates set by the user when necessary.

In addition, when the patent document search server 100 of the present invention downloads a patent document according to the download setting value in the above manner, work efficiency can be maximized by matching patent document information and corresponding document name information of the download items and storing them in the server 100 for a preset period of time so that they can be called and used again for later work.

The patent document search server of the present invention and the patent document search method using the same have been described above as an example of searching for and downloading patent documents in a DB, but as described above, if there is a field inside the document, it will be possible to automatically download by setting the name when downloading the document in the same way even if it is not a patent document.
