Claims (10)
- 직렬 연결된 복수의 배터리 모듈을 포함하며 제1 및 제2 단자를 갖는 배터리 모듈 어레이 -상기 복수의 배터리 모듈은 각각 적어도 하나의 배터리 셀, 상기 배터리 셀과 직렬 연결되며 과전류가 인가되면 개방되는 전류 차단 소자, 및 상기 배터리 셀의 상태 정보를 측정하고 측정값을 전송하는 센서부를 포함함-;
상기 제1 단자와 직렬 연결되는 제1 스위치 부, 상기 제2 단자와 직렬 연결되는 제2 스위치 부 및, 상기 제1 및 제2 단자를 연결하는 제3 스위치 부를 포함하는 배터리 차단 유닛; 및
상기 센서부에서 전송된 상기 측정값이 기 설정된 임계값을 초과하면 상기 제3 스위치 부를 온(ON)하여 상기 제1 및 제2 단자를 단락시켜 상기 전류 차단 소자를 개방하는 배터리 관리 시스템(Battery Management System)을 포함하는 배터리 팩.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 센서부는, 온도 센서 및 가스 센서 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 배터리 팩.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 센서부는 상기 복수의 배터리 모듈에 각각 배치된 복수의 온도 센서를 포함하며, 상기 측정값은 상기 배터리 셀의 온도 정보값이고,
상기 배터리 관리 시스템은 상기 복수의 온도 센서 중 적어도 어느 하나의 온도 센서에서 전송된 측정값이, 다른 온도 센서에서 전송된 측정값 보다 상기 임계값을 초과하여 높으면 상기 제3 스위치 부를 온하며,
상기 임계값은 3℃인 배터리 팩.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 센서부는 온도 센서 및 가스 센서를 포함하며,
상기 배터리 관리 시스템은 상기 온도 센서와 상기 가스 센서에서 각각 전송된 측정값이 모두 상기 임계값을 초과하면 상기 제3 스위치 부를 온하는 배터리 팩.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 배터리 셀은 리튬 이온 배터리 셀이며,
상기 임계값은 50℃인 배터리 팩.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 배터리 관리 시스템은 상기 센서부에서 전송된 측정값이 기 설정된 임계값을 초과하면 상기 제1 및 제2 스위치 부를 오프(OFF)하는 배터리 팩.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 배터리 모듈은 각각 직렬 연결된 복수의 배터리 셀을 포함하는 배터리 팩.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1 내지 제3 스위치 부는 파워 릴레이(power relay)인 배터리 팩.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 전류 차단 소자는 퓨즈(fuse)인 배터리 팩.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 배터리 모듈 어레이는 상기 복수의 배터리 모듈과 직렬 연결된 수동 서비스 차단(Manual Service Disconnector) 모듈을 더 포함하는 배터리 팩.
