Abstract

The present invention relates to a bush assembly and, more specifically, to a bush assembly of an electric water pump, capable of reducing noise and vibrations. In accordance with the present invention, the bush assembly, which is a bush assembly of an electric water pump supporting a shaft of a rotor to a can, includes a cylindrical bearing bush, and a plurality of O-rings. The bearing bush has a plurality of grooves spaced a predetermined distance apart from each other in an axial direction to be formed on an outer circumference surface in a circumferential direction, and a through hole, into which the shaft is inserted to be supported, to be inserted into a groove of the can. The O-rings are made of a flexible material to be inserted into the grooves. In accordance with the present invention, the bush assembly supporting the shaft of the rotor to the can includes the cylindrical bearing bush inserted into the groove of the can and a plurality of O-rings. Here, the bearing bush has the plurality of grooves spaced a predetermined distance apart from each other in an axial direction to be formed on the outer circumference surface in a circumferential direction, and a through hole, into which the shaft is inserted to be supported, and the O-rings are made of a flexible material to be inserted into the grooves. In this case, since the O-rings come in contact with an inner circumference surface of the groove of the can, rotation friction can be reduced, which can lead to less noise and vibrations.
