Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method of bonding a functional film not including a substrate using a roll-to-roll method, a multilayer film manufactured thereby, and a window laminate including the same.
Recently, according to the miniaturization and thinning of electronic products, by using a polymer film that replaces a glass substrate as a substrate, research on a thinner, lighter, and bendable, film-type device component material is being actively conducted.
These film-type device parts materials include functional films for performing various functions such as light blocking functions and decorative functions, and decorative films, which are a kind of functional film, perform decorative functions while blocking light, including decorative films It is widely used in devices and materials that can do this, for example, windows for flexible displays (ultra-thin glass windows, film windows, etc.), interlayer films (shock absorbing layer, scattering prevention layer, etc.), touch sensors, polarizing layers, etc.
The functional film may be bonded to other films for the purpose of protecting the bonding surface of the functional film, providing a bonding surface with other members, polarizing functions, etc., and may be formed into a multilayer, and may be manufactured by various manufacturing methods, In terms of process economics, it is produced by a Roll-to-Roll (R2R) process including a lamination process.
As an example in which the roll-to-roll process is used, Patent Publication No. 10-2017-0101482 discloses a method of bonding a touch sensor film and a functional film by a roll-to-roll method with minimal error, and in the bonding process of the film, the roll It indicates that a two-roll process can be used.
However, since the functional film used in the roll-to-roll (R2R) process is generally performed while being attached to a substrate such as PET, foldability may be deteriorated due to limitations in thickness and material, so that various There is a limitation in the use for the purpose, the addition of a complicated process may be necessary in the processing process for use in other members, and the repetition of the same process may occur, so there is a problem in that the economical efficiency of the process is not good.
In order to solve this problem, in the process of manufacturing a functional film such as a decorative film, efforts have been made not to include a substrate, but if the substrate is not included, the production by the above-described roll-to-roll process is difficult. there is
An object of the present invention is to provide a bonding method of a functional film that does not include a substrate using a roll-to-roll method.
In addition, an object of the present invention is to provide a method for bonding a functional film using a roll-to-roll method with improved process economics.
