Abstract

The present invention provides a biometric authentication food waste collection box, and comprises: an iris recognition unit recognizing a user′s pre-registered iris; a display unit for displaying information; a weight measurement unit for measuring a weight; and an inlet which is automatically opened and closed. According to the present invention, charges are automatically paid according to the weight of food waste measured by the weight measurement unit.

본 발명은 상기한 바와 같은 종래의 제반 문제점을 해소하기 위해서 제시되는 것이다. 그 목적은 생체인증 특히 홍채인식을 통하여 정당한 사용자를 인식하고 자동으로 결재되는 비접촉식 생체인증 음식물 쓰레기 수거함을 제공하고자 한다.
