Abstract

The present invention relates to a pad for pet defecation based on diatomaceous earth and monodeco as main components. The pad is an indoor household product with excellent functions such as deodorization, hygroscopicity and antifungal activities and made of an eco-friendly material while having a hardened structure without a chemical adhesive used therein. The pad of the present invention comprises 50 to 55% of diatomaceous earth, 40% of monodeco (99% pure), 4% of polymer (modified polyolefin), 3% of fiber, 2% of perlite and 1% of loess.

최근 반려동물과 생활하는 가정이 확대되면서 애완견에 대한 관심이 대두되고 애완견 대·소변에 대한 처리 및 악취 등 문제점이 부각되고 있다. 현재 사용 중인 애완견 배변패드 (종이 기저귀) 문제점은 주기적인 폐기물 발생(생활 쓰레기)과 많은 비용지출 등 개선을 요하는 상황이다. 이로써 쾌적한 생활환경이 유지되는 못하는 경우가 많다.
