Description

Multi-layer dressing material for wound treatment}Multi-layer dressing material for wound treatment

The present invention relates to a dressing material used in the treatment of skin wounds, and more particularly, to a multi-layer dressing material for wound treatment having a multi-layer structure made of a material having a different function from each other to enhance the effect of wound treatment.

Wounds on the skin are gradually healed through inflammatory and rejuvenation phases, and secondary complications such as infections are likely to occur if the treatment timing is missed. Accordingly, various kinds of dressing materials may be used to treat the wound more actively and effectively.

The dressing material must have a number of elements, and typically, the biocompatibility should be excellent, there should be no rejection reaction, should be able to sufficiently absorb the body fluids exuded from the wound area, It should adhere securely to the skin. In addition, the infiltration of bacteria into the wound must be blocked while maximizing evaporation of the exuded body fluids.

On the other hand, almost all the dressing materials used in the past, only physically covered the wound to maintain a wet environment, and performed only the degree of prevention of secondary infection and the like. For example, active wound treatment could not be performed due to the lack of a structure for rapid hemostasis of wounds, efficient management of exudate, anti-inflammatory antibacterial action, and promotion of wound regeneration.

Multi-layered dressing material for wound treatment of the present invention made as described above, the adhesion layer responsible for the complex functions such as maintaining the wet area of the wound, hemostasis, exudate absorption, tissue regeneration, growth factor (growth factor) supply, exudation management, anti-inflammatory antibacterial The CMCS (carboxymethyl chitosan) layer, which is responsible for its function and prevents secondary infections, forms a laminated structure and actively and efficiently heals wounds through its role.

1 is a cross-sectional view for explaining the configuration and operation of a multi-layer dressing material for wound treatment according to an embodiment of the present invention.

Hereinafter, one embodiment according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Basically, the wound dressing multilayer dressing material 15 according to the present embodiment has a laminated structure in which two layers having different functions are stacked. In particular, the individual effects of the two layers act simultaneously to allow more active and rapid wound healing.

For example, as described below, the amniotic membrane's biological growth factor and CMCS chitosan exudative management, hemostasis and anti-inflammatory activity are excellent, especially diabetes foot, bedsores, burns, lacerations (swept wounds) and self-healing ability. It is very effective for the treatment of chronic wounds.

1 is a cross-sectional view for explaining the configuration and operation of the multi-layer dressing material for wound treatment according to an embodiment of the present invention.

As shown, the wound dressing multi-layered dressing material 15 according to the present embodiment, the adhesive layer 17 which covers and adheres to the wound 13, and the living body laminated on the adhesion layer 17. A conformal support layer 19 and an adhesive tape 21 positioned on the biocompatible support layer 19 and for securing the laminate to the skin 11 stably. The adhesive tape 21 may or may not be applied in some cases.

First, the adhesion layer 17 is composed of a natural polysaccharide-based polymer material or chitin-based polymer material, and amnion powder 17b distributed inside the selected polymer material. In this embodiment, alginate 17a is used as the polymer material. However, it is of course possible to apply any other kind of polymer material capable of performing a function similar to alginate.

The alginate 17a is a material having excellent biocompatibility. The alginate 17a creates and maintains a wet environment of the wound 13 and provides excellent adhesion to stably maintain the fixing of the dressing material 15.

In particular, the alginate 17a is gelled in close contact with the wound and the amnion powder 17b contained therein is shown in the direction of arrow a in FIG. Allow them to move inside the organization. Amnion powder 17b dispersed in the wound site 13 serves to promote the regeneration of the wound.

As the alginate 17a gels as described above, the adhesion layer 17 serves as one wet dressing. As a result, the wound remains moist due to the action of the alginate 17a so that the wound surface does not stick to the wound surface, thereby preventing secondary damage of the wound and suppressing scar formation.

The amnion powder takes the form of particles in an insoluble solidified state, and gradually releases the components therein while spreading into the wound tissue.

In addition, the composition ratio at the time of using chitosan as said adhesion layer 17 can be comprised with 1.25g chitosan, 0.1g alginate, and 0.02g of amnion. That is, it has a ratio of 8 parts by weight of alginate and 1.6 parts by weight of amnion per 100 parts by weight of chitosan.

When the ratio of the chitosan and alginate is changed, physical properties such as flexibility and tensile strength are different. For example, if the ratio of chitosan increases, the hardness increases, making it difficult to adhere to the wound, and the absorbing power decreases. If the ratio of alginate is high, the viscosity increases, so that the amniotic membrane is difficult to disperse and the hardness increases. The composition ratio of the amnion is a ratio that can exhibit the maximum effect with a minimum amount.

In addition, the width and thickness of the adhesion layer 17 may vary for each product of the dressing material so as to effectively cover and protect the wound 13, the preferred thickness may be about 0.5mm to 2mm, for example. Since the adhesive layer contains the amnion powder 17b and adheres to the wound, if the thickness is thinner than the thickness, it may be difficult to mount the amnion, and if too thick, the ability to absorb the exudates of the chitosan layer by the alginate layer may be reduced. have.

On the other hand, the biocompatible support layer 19 is a sponge-like layer made of Carboxymethyl Chitosan (hereinafter referred to as CMCS). The CMCS has superior biocompatibility compared to general chitosan, and is a substance that manages exudates of wounds through excellent absorption, anti-inflammatory antibacterial action, and hemostatic action.

The effect of the CMCS is on the wound site through the gel layer when gelling alginate. In other words, by properly managing the exudate in the wound (13), to create an environment that can effectively utilize the various factors required for cell regeneration in the exudate, or to absorb the exudate from the wound (13). The CMCS takes the form of a sponge so that the biocompatible support layer 19 can absorb the exudate.

Eventually, as the alginate gels, the effects of the drug and the CMCS are simultaneously delivered to the wound. In other words, according to the gelation of alginate, the amnion powder 17b is dispersed in the wound and starts to act, along with the CMCS.

The width of the biocompatible support layer 19 is the same as the adhesion layer 17, and the thickness can be made thick enough to stably protect the wound 13 from external impact. The porosity of the biocompatible support layer 19 is 40% to 70%, and the preferred thickness is 3mm to 5mm. Since the support layer 19 itself is a specialized part for absorbing the exudates and controlling the wet environment, when the thickness becomes thinner than the thickness, the absorption ability is lowered, and when thickened, the support layer 19 becomes difficult to adhere to the wound.

This absorption is due to the capillary phenomenon caused by the voids of the support layer 19. If the voids are too large, the capillary phenomenon is lowered, the absorption is reduced, if the voids are too small the absorption is reduced.

The adhesive tape 21 is a medical tape for stably fixing the laminate formed by the adhesion layer 17 and the biocompatible support layer 19 to the skin 11. The adhesive tape 21 is a sheet made of a biocompatible material as a raw material, and has a sufficient water evaporation ability, and particularly blocks the penetration of bacteria. Of course, the adhesive tape 21 may not be used when the adhesion of the adhesive layer 17 to the surface of the wound 13 is sufficient.
