Description
The present invention relates to a device for loading a stent graft, and more particularly to a device for loading a stent graft, which unlike conventional devices for loading a stent graft, in which a stent is deployed from the front, .
An aortic aneurysm refers to a disease in which the blood vessel walls swell up and are deformed into protuberance or balloon shape.
Aortic aneurysms can be divided into two groups: ⅰ) a weakened area due to the degeneration of the arterial wall due to atherosclerosis, which can not withstand blood pressure, and is deformed into a spindle or a sac; and ⅱ) a vessel wall corresponding to the innermost skin Aortic dissection occurs when blood is torn and blood flows into the torn space, which is mainly formed when the thin outer wall of the caudal lumen, composed of the outer layer of the middle membrane and the outer membrane, gradually expands.
When an aortic aneurysm develops, the vessel wall loses elasticity over time, and blood vessels may rupture to normal blood pressure. Therefore, it is necessary to perform prompt treatment and, in the past, to replace the portion of the blood vessel having an aortic aneurysm with a graft It was common to treat the aortic aneurysm in an appropriate way.
However, in recent years, attempts have been made to treat aortic aneurysms with a stent-based procedure to reduce the risk of surgery.
In order to insert the stent into the aortic aneurysm, a separate insertion device is required. In the past, a stent insertion device as shown in Fig. 1 was used.

Next, a method of using the apparatus for loading a stent graft, which is another embodiment of the present invention, will be described.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method of performing the method using the apparatus for loading a stent graft, the method comprising the steps of: (a) inserting a stent insertion portion (100) of a device for loading a stent graft to an aortic aneurysm position; (b) With the
The
(D) Prior to inserting the
More specifically, the saline supplied from the
Also, in the step (a), the
The present invention provides an apparatus for loading a stent graft as described above and a surgical method using the stent graft, thereby providing a stent inside a blood vessel having an aortic aneurysm to prevent blood flow into the swollen blood vessel, Aortic aneurysms (especially, thoracic aortic aneurysms) can be effectively treated by directing blood flow to the leg veins.
Unlike the conventional apparatus for loading a stent graft in which the stent has been unfolded from the front in the prior art, the stent is deployed from the rear side, Whereby it is possible to prevent the undesired blood vessel from being closed, and also to close the blood vessel more accurately at the position even when the blood vessel has to be closed.
For example, when the aortic aneurysm is located at the upper end of the celiac trunk as shown in FIG. 7 (a), the celiac artery should not be closed. In the conventional device for loading a stent graft, There was a problem that the celiac artery was closed to be installed. However, the device of the present invention can be provided with a stent based on the back of the device, so that the stent is installed on the basis of the upper end of the celiac artery to prevent the celiac artery from being closed.
In addition, when an aortic aneurysm is located between the periphery of the Celiac trunk and the superior mesenteric artery (SMA) as shown in FIG. 7 (b), the hepatic artery should not be closed but only the celiac artery should be closed. There is a problem in that the stent graft is installed only on the front side of the device for loading the stent graft, which unintentionally closes the hepatic artery. However, since the stent can be installed on the basis of the back of the device, the device of the present invention can stably install the stent based on the upper end of the superior abdominal aorta, thereby precisely closing the abdominal aorta without closing the superior abdominal aorta.
That is, the apparatus for loading a stent graft of the present invention has an advantage that a stent can be installed more accurately than a conventional apparatus.
