Abstract

본 발명은 경사형 모터에 관한 것이다.
본 발명의 실시예에 따른 경사형 모터는 엔진을 향하여 직경이 작아지도록 형성된 고정자; 상기 고정자의 내측에 배치되고, 상기 엔진을 향하여 직경이 작아지도록 형성된 회전자; 상기 고정자를 고정하고, 고정자에서 발생하는 열을 냉각하는 냉각 부재; 및 상기 냉각 부재를 감싸고, 엔진과 변속기 사이에 고정적으로 설치되는 하우징;을 포함할 수 있다.

Description

경사형 모터{OBLIQUE MOTOR}
본 발명은 모터에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 크랭크 샤프트에 직결 가능한 경사형 모터에 관한 것이다.
주지하는 바와 같이 하이브리드 차량(hybrid electric vehicle)은 내연기관(internal combustion engine)과 배터리 전원을 함께 사용한다. 즉, 하이브리드 차량은 내연기관의 동력과 모터의 동력을 효율적으로 조합하여 사용한다.
하이브리드 차량은 엔진과 모터의 파워 분담비에 따라 마일드(mild) 타입과 하드(hard) 타입으로 구분할 수 있다. 마일드 타입의 하이브리드 차량(이하, 마일드 하이브리드 차량이라 한다)은 알터네이터 대신에 엔진을 시동하거나 상기 엔진의 출력에 의해 발전하는 시동 발전기(mild hybrid starter & generator; MHSG)가 구비된다. 하드 타입의 하이브리드 차량은 엔진을 시동하거나 상기 엔진의 출력에 의해 발전하는 시동 발전기와 차량을 구동하는 구동 모터가 각각 별도로 구비된다.
마일드 하이브리드 차량은 MHSG를 이용하여 주행 상태에 따라 엔진 토크를 보조할 수 있으며, 회생제동을 통해 배터리(예를 들어, 48 V 배터리)를 충전할 수 있다. 이에 따라, 마일드 하이브리드 차량의 연비가 향상될 수 있다.
도 1은 종래의 마일드 하이브리드 차량의 엔진을 도시한 도면이다.
도 1에 도시된 바와 같이, MHSG(2)에 연결된 MHSG 풀리(3)와 엔진(1)의 크랭크 샤프트(crank shaft)에 연결된 댐퍼 풀리(4)가 벨트(5)를 통해 연결되어 있다. 상기 벨트(5)의 장력은 텐셔너(6)에 의해 조절될 수 있다.
상기 MHSG(2)를 엔진(1)에 적용하기 위해서는 별도의 장착 공간이 필요한 문제점이 있으며, 벨트(5)에 의해 MHSG(2)의 동력 전달 효율이 저하되는 문제점이 있다.
따라서, MHSG를 엔진과 변속기 사이의 공간에 장착하는 것을 고려해볼 수 있지만, 차륜에 연결된 구동축(drive shaft)과의 간섭 문제로 MHSG를 엔진과 변속기 사이의 공간에 장착하기 어려운 문제점이 있었다.
따라서, 본 발명은 상기한 바와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위한 것으로, 본 발명이 해결하고자 하는 과제는, 크랭크 샤프트에 직결 가능한 경사형 모터를 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 실시예에 따른 경사형 모터는 엔진을 향하여 직경이 작아지도록 형성된 고정자; 상기 고정자의 내측에 배치되고, 상기 엔진을 향하여 직경이 작아지도록 형성된 회전자; 상기 고정자를 고정하고, 고정자에서 발생하는 열을 냉각하는 냉각 부재; 및 상기 냉각 부재를 감싸고, 엔진과 변속기 사이에 고정적으로 설치되는 하우징;을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 고정자의 엔진측 직경은 상기 고정자의 변속기측 직경 보다 작을 수 있다.
상기 회전자의 엔진측 직경은 상기 회전자의 변속기측 직경 보다 작을 수 있다.
상기 하우징의 엔진측 직경은 상기 하우징의 변속기측 직경 보다 작을 수 있다.
상기 회전자는 중심부에 크랭크 샤프트와 직결되는 장착부가 형성된 플라이휠과 일체로 형성될 수 있다.
상술한 바와 같이 본 발명의 실시예에 따르면, 경사형 모터를 크랭크 샤프트에 직결함으로써 동력 전달 효율을 향상시키고 엔진룸의 공간 활용도를 증대시키며 원가를 절감할 수 있다.
또한, 경사형 모터를 엔진과 변속기 사이의 공간에 배치하더라도 구동축의 구성요소와의 간섭을 회피할 수 있다.

도 2는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 마일드 하이브리드 차량을 도시한 도면이다.

이하에서는 첨부한 도면을 참고로 하여 본 발명의 실시예에 대하여 본 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자가 용이하게 실시할 수 있도록 상세히 설명한다. 그러나, 본 발명은 여기서 설명되는 실시예에 한정되지 않고 다른 형태로 구체화될 수도 있다.
본 발명을 명확하게 설명하기 위해서 설명과 관계없는 부분은 생략하였으며, 명세서 전체를 통하여 동일 또는 유사한 구성요소에 대해서는 동일한 참조 부호를 부여한다.
또한, 도면에서 나타난 각 구성은 설명의 편의를 위해 임의로 나타내었으므로, 본 발명이 반드시 도면에 도시된 바에 한정되지 않는다.
도 2는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 마일드 하이브리드 차량을 도시한 블록도이다.
도 2에 도시된 바와 같이, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 마일드 하이브리드 차량은 엔진(10), 경사형 모터(20), 변속기(30), 차동기어장치(40), 및 휠(50)을 포함한다.
마일드 하이브리드 차량의 동력 전달은 엔진(10)에서 발생된 토크가 변속기(30)의 입력축에 전달되고, 변속기(30)의 출력축으로부터 출력된 토크가 차동기어장치(40)를 경유하여 구동축(60)에 전달된다. 구동축(60)이 휠(50)을 회전시킴으로써 엔진(10)에서 발생된 토크에 의해 마일드 하이브리드 차량이 주행하게 된다.
경사형 모터(20)는 엔진(10)을 시동하거나, 엔진(10)의 출력에 의해 발전할 수 있다. 또한, 경사형 모터(20)는 엔진(10)의 토크를 보조할 수 있다. 즉, 상기 마일드 하이브리드 차량은 엔진(10)의 토크를 주동력으로 하면서 경사형 모터(20)의 토크를 보조동력으로 이용할 수 있다. 상기 경사형 모터(20)는 MHSG(mild hybrid starter & generator)라 호칭될 수 있다.
도 3은 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 경사형 모터의 사시도이고, 도 4는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 경사형 모터의 분해 사시도이며, 도 5는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 경사형 모터의 분해 측면도이다.
도 3 내지 도 5에 도시된 바와 같이, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 경사형 모터(20)는 고정자(210), 회전자(220), 냉각 부재(230), 및 하우징(240)을 포함한다. 고정자(210)는 자속을 발생시키며, 회전자(220)는 고정자(210)의 내측에 배치되어 회전운동을 한다.
고정자(210)는 고정자 코어(211) 및 고정자 코일(212)을 포함한다.
고정자 코어(211)의 내주 측에 다수의 슬롯(213)이 형성되어 있으며, 상기 슬롯(213)에는 고정자 코일(212)이 권선되어 있다. 고정자 코일(212)에 전류를 인가하게 되면, 고정자(210)에서는 자속이 발생하고, 자속에 의해 회전자(220)가 토크를 발생시킬 수 있다.
상기 고정자(210)는 엔진(10)을 향하여 직경이 작아지도록 형성될 수 있다. 즉, 고정자(210)의 엔진측 직경(A1)이 고정자(210)의 변속기측 직경(A2) 보다 작다.
회전자(220)는 고정자(210)의 내측에 배치되며, 플라이휠(flywheel)(225)과 일체로 형성될 수 있다. 회전자(220)는 영구자석 또는 회전자 코일이 권선된 회전자 코어를 포함할 수 있다.
플라이휠(225)은 엔진(10)의 크랭크 샤프트(11)의 회전력을 유지시키며, 중심부에는 크랭크 샤프트(11)와 직결되는 장착부(227)가 형성되어 있다. 회전자(220)가 플라이휠(225)가 일체로 형성되어 크랭크 샤프트(11)와 직결되므로, 엔진(10)과 경사형 모터(20)를 연결하기 위한 벨트를 삭제할 수 있으며, 경사형 모터(20)의 동력 전달 효율을 향상시킬 수 있다.
상기 회전자(220)는 엔진(10)을 향하여 직경이 작아지도록 형성될 수 있다. 즉, 고정자(220)의 엔진측 직경(B1)이 회전자(220)의 변속기측 직경(B2) 보다 작다.
냉각 부재(230)는 하우징(240)의 내부에서 고정자(210)를 고정함과 동시에 고정자(210)에서 발생하는 열을 냉각매체(예를 들어, 냉각수)를 통해 냉각할 수 있다. 고정자(210)에서 다량의 열이 발생하므로, 열에 의한 손상을 막고 지속적으로 안정된 작동성을 확보하기 위해 냉각이 이루어져야 한다. 냉각 부재(230)의 외주면에는 냉각수가 유입되는 유입홀(231) 및 유출되는 유출홀(232)가 형성될 수 있으며, 냉각 부재(230)의 내부에는 냉각매체를 유동시키는 유동 통로가 형성될 수 있다.
하우징(240)은 상기 냉각 부재(230)를 감싸고, 엔진(10)과 변속기(30) 사이에 고정적으로 설치된다.
상기 하우징(240)은 엔진(10)을 향하여 직경이 작아지도록 형성될 수 있다. 즉, 하우징(240)의 엔진측 직경(C1)이 하우징(240)의 변속기측 직경(C2) 보다 작다.
도 6은 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 경사형 모터의 효과를 설명하기 위한 도면이다.
도 6 참조하면, 구동축(60)과 크랭크 샤프트(11) 사이의 거리가 가까울수록 운전성이 향상되므로, 구동축(60)과 크랭크 샤프트(11) 사이의 거리는 소정의 거리 이내로 결정된다. 종래에는 크랭크 샤프트(11)에 직결된 모터를 장착하는 경우 구동축(60)의 부츠(boots)(61)와 같은 구성요소와 간섭이 생겨, 별도의 장착 공간에 모터를 장착하고 벨트를 통해 크랭크 샤프트(11)에 연결하였다.
그러나, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 경사형 모터(20)는 엔진(10)을 향하여 직경이 작아지도록 형성되어 있으므로, 구동축(60)의 구성요소와 간섭을 회피할 수 있다. 이에 따라, 경사형 모터(20)가 크랭크 샤프트(11)에 직결되고 벨트가 삭제 가능하므로, 동력 전달 효율을 향상시키고 엔진룸의 공간 활용도를 증대시킬 수 있으며, 원가를 절감할 수 있다.
이상에서 본 발명의 실시예에 대하여 상세하게 설명하였지만 본 발명의 권리범위는 이에 한정되는 것은 아니고 다음의 청구범위에서 정의하고 있는 본 발명의 기본 개념을 이용한 당업자의 여러 변형 및 개량 형태 또한 본 발명의 권리범위에 속하는 것이다.

Claims (5)

  1. 엔진을 향하여 직경이 작아지도록 형성된 고정자;
    상기 고정자의 내측에 배치되고, 상기 엔진을 향하여 직경이 작아지도록 형성된 회전자;
    상기 고정자를 고정하고, 고정자에서 발생하는 열을 냉각하는 냉각 부재; 및
    상기 냉각 부재를 감싸고, 엔진과 변속기 사이에 고정적으로 설치되는 하우징;
    을 포함하는 경사형 모터.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 고정자의 엔진측 직경은 상기 고정자의 변속기측 직경 보다 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 경사형 모터.
  3. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 회전자의 엔진측 직경은 상기 회전자의 변속기측 직경 보다 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 경사형 모터.
  4. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 하우징의 엔진측 직경은 상기 하우징의 변속기측 직경 보다 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 경사형 모터.
  5. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 회전자는 중심부에 크랭크 샤프트와 직결되는 장착부가 형성된 플라이휠과 일체로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 경사형 모터.
