Abstract

The present invention relates to a method and a device for access control based on pattern recognition for recognizing a pattern image from a photographed image of an opening and closing device by augmented reality technology and authenticating the opening and closing device and a user entering and exiting through the opening and closing device by the recognized pattern image. A terminal performs first authentication by comparing the pattern image recognized from the photographed image of the opening and closing device with a pattern image of a pre-stored user definition pattern to check whether the two pattern images are matched with each other. A security service device performs second authentication by receiving user identification information, the photographed image, and the firstly authenticated pattern image from the terminal and comparing the same with pre-registered account information. The security service device performs third authentication by comparing a password input from the terminal with the account information.
