Abstract
The present invention relates to an apparatus including a drop accommodating portion for monitoring a metering unit, wherein a drop may be provided on an upper end surface of the drop accommodating portion of the metering unit. In addition, an image capture and analysis apparatus, and a scale for measuring the weight of the drop are additionally provided in order to measure the diameter of the drop provided in the drop accommodating portion.
