Abstract

A clothing treatment apparatus of the present invention includes: a cabinet comprising a treatment chamber having an open front side, and an air current inlet and an air current outlet connecting the treatment chamber to a circulation passage formed outside the chamber; a door opening or closing the open front side of the treatment chamber; a heat pump dehumidifying the air flowing into the circulation passage through the air current inlet to be directed to the air current outlet; a course setting part installed on the front side of the door, and receiving settings of an indoor dehumidification course; an execution input part installed on the front side of the door, and receiving an execution command for the indoor dehumidification course set through the course setting part; a door sensor sensing whether the door is opened or not; and a control part postponing the execution of the indoor dehumidification course if the door sensor senses that the door is closed after the indoor dehumidification course is set and the execution command for the indoor dehumidification course is inputted, and controlling the head pump to execute the indoor dehumidification course if the door sensor senses that the door is opened while the execution of the indoor dehumidification course is postponed. As such, the present invention is capable of improving user convenience by omitting reinput of an execution command.
