Abstract

영상 처리를 위한 디스플레이 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 디스플레이 장치에서 영상 처리 방법은, 3D 영상 이미지를 구성하기 위한 영상 데이터를 수신하는 단계, 수신된 영상 데이터에 기초하여 3D 영상 이미지를 복수의 오브젝트로 구분하고, 3D 영상 이미지를 바라보는 시점에 대한 정보에 기초하여 복수의 오브젝트 각각에 대한 2D 영상 이미지를 생성하는 단계 및 시점 및 복수의 오브젝트 각각의 거리에 기초하여 복수의 오브젝트에 대한 2D 영상 이미지를 합성하여 디스플레이하는 단계를 포함한다. 이에 따라, 디스플레이 장치는 가상의 의복을 착용한 3D 영상 이미지로부터 고속의 2D 영상 이미지를 생성하여 제공할 수 있다.
