Abstract

본 발명은 LED 전광판 제어 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로, LED 디스플레이부의 고장 여부를 감지하는 고장 감지부; 상기 LED 디스플레이에서 출력할 데이터를 전송하는 이더넷 허브; 상기 이더넷 허브로부터 전송되는 데이터를 상기 고장 감지부로 송신하는 제1 및 제2서브 컨트롤 보드; 및 상기 LED 디스플레이의 구동을 위한 전원을 공급하는 전원 공급장치를 포함하고, 상기 이더넷 허브 및 전원 공급장치에는 각각 상기 제1서브 컨트롤 보드와 연결되는 제2이더넷 라인 및 제1전원포트가 구성되고, 상기 제2서브 컨트롤 보드와 연결되는 제3이더넷 라인 및 제2전원포트로 분리 구성되어 상기 제1 및 제2서브 컨트롤 보드, 이더넷 라인 및 전원 공급장치가 각각 이원화 구성되고, 상기 고장 감지부는 상기 전원 공급장치 및 제1서브 컨트롤 보드로부터 전송되는 전원 공급 여부 및 상기 데이터의 파손 여부를 감지 및 분석하여 LED 전광판의 고장 여부를 판단하고, 고장 발생시 상기 제1서브 컨트롤 보드, 제2이더넷 라인 및 제1전원포트를 동작상태에서 대기상태로 변경하고, 상기 제2서브 컨트롤 보드, 제3이더넷 라인 및 제2전원포트를 대기상태에서 동작상태로 변경함과 동시에 고장 원인에 대한 오류 메시지를 생성하는 시스템 및 방법을 특징으로 한다.
