본 발명의 금융기기에는, 출금을 위한 매체가 보관되는 매체 보관부와, 출금 거래 시, 상기 매체 보관부에서 인출된 순서에 따라 매체의 일련번호를 획득하는 매체감별장치와, 상기 매체 보관부에 보관된 매체의 집적된 순서에 따라 매체의 일련번호가 저장된 메모리와, 상기 출금 거래 시 출금될 매체가 상기 매체 보관부에서 모두 출금되면, 상기 매체감별장치에서 획득된 상기 출금된 매체 중 마지막에 출금된 매체의 일련번호와 상기 메모리에 기 저장된 일련번호를 비교하여 상기 메모리의 기 저장된 시재정보를 보정하는 제어부를 포함한다.
