한편, 본 발명의 겨자오일을 끈끈이액에 각 5 중량%, 10 중량% 및 20 중량%로 혼합한 조성물과 에탄올에 5 중량%, 10 중량% 및 20 중량%로 혼합한 조성물을 솔수염 하늘소 침입구에 0.1-0.4 mL 수준으로 주입하여 24시간 경과 후 솔수염 하늘소 유충의 치사유무를 조사한 결과 겨자오일과 끈끈이액 혼합 조성물이 에탄올 혼용 처리에 비하여 살충효과가 매우 높게 나타났다(표 3). 본 발명은 끈끈이액에 겨자오일을 일정비율로 혼합하여 목재 천공충이 서식하고 있는 목재의 표면에 분무 처리하여 천공충의 퇴치 효과를 조사하였다.
