Description
The present invention relates to a mold apparatus for manufacturing a contact lens, and more particularly to a mold for manufacturing a contact lens for manufacturing a contact lens used for correcting visual acuity such as astigmatism and myopia. The mold of the present invention is manufactured by molding a mold suitable for the shape of each contact lens for mass production, injecting the material of the contact lens between the molds, and curing the mold. To a mold apparatus used for manufacturing the mold.
Contact lenses were first designed to correct irregular astigmatism in the 1880s and are now commonly used for vision correction and cosmetics.
Contact lenses are largely divided into hard and soft types. The types of contact lenses vary widely. Various types of contact lenses are needed for proper correction. Contact lenses vary in shape depending on the size and shape of the eye.
The contact lens is usually manufactured by a mold casting method. In the mold casting method, the upper mold mold and the lower mold mold are manufactured according to the shape of the object requiring manufacture, the material of the contact lens to be manufactured is injected between the upper mold and the lower mold, And then casting it. In order to manufacture a contact lens by a mold casting method, various molds must be manufactured according to the type of contact lens. These various molds are manufactured by an injection method through a mold.
The injection method is similar to the mold casting method, in which the upper and lower metal molds are manufactured, and the material is injected into the mold cavity and then cooled to manufacture the object. 5, the
In this conventional contact lens manufacturing mold apparatus, when the contact lens to be manufactured is changed, it is necessary to remove the upper / lower mold from the injection apparatus and then replace the core in the upper / lower mold.
Further, since the parts for binding the core to the upper / lower molds and the parts for coupling the upper / lower molds coupled with the cores to the injection apparatus are all required, the mold apparatus is excessively complicated and the weight of the mold is increased.
In addition, in the conventional mold apparatus, the cooling line for cooling the injection molded article after injection is provided in the form of a straight line or a rectangle irrespective of the shape of the object, so that the cavity balance, which is the degree of cooling of the object, . For this reason, there is a problem that the supercooling occurs in any part of the molded product, while undercooling is performed in the other part, so that the quality of the molded product deteriorates or the defect rate increases.
In addition, since the mold apparatus itself has a large weight, it is difficult to assemble, and precision in assembling can not be maintained, or there is a problem in that a separate adjustment channel is required for accurate assembly.
It is an object of the present invention to simplify parts and processes for assembling a core and an upper / lower mold by integrally forming an upper / lower mold and a core, The weight of the mold can be drastically reduced and the cooling line for cooling the mold can be formed to have the same shape as the shape of the injection molding to improve the cavity balance of the injection molding and to accurately mount the upper and lower molds in the injection molding And a mold for manufacturing a contact lens for a contact lens.

The upper mold and the lower mold may be provided with cooling lines for cooling the respective molds.
The cooling line is uniformly spaced from each of the cores so as to uniformly cool the heat generated in the upper and lower cores.
In addition, the cooling lines provided in the upper mold and the lower mold are the same as the outer shapes of the cores.

The present invention relates to a mold apparatus for manufacturing a contact lens, and as described above, relates to a mold apparatus for injecting an upper / lower mold used for manufacturing a contact lens.
The mold apparatus for manufacturing a contact lens according to the present invention is a mold apparatus for injecting a mold for manufacturing a contact lens. The mold apparatus includes an
As described above, the contact lens is a product for correcting the visual acuity, and the visual acuity to be corrected is very various. Therefore, not only the shape such as the thickness of the contact lens is changed, but also the size and shape of the eyeball are different for each person. There are many characteristics that must be varied. Accordingly, the types of molds for manufacturing contact lenses are very many, and molds for molding molds must be manufactured accordingly. The conventional apparatus for producing a cassette type contact lens shown in Fig. 5 requires frequent replacement work according to the contact lens to be manufactured by providing various mold apparatuses.
A conventional mold apparatus for manufacturing contact lenses is a cassette mold type. Referring to FIG. 5, an
The mold apparatus for manufacturing a contact lens of the present invention is intended to solve such a problem, and each constitution of the present invention will be described in detail below.
The
When the mold apparatus is of a cassette type and the type of the contact lens to be manufactured is changed, it is necessary to replace the mold with a core suitable for the mold. The upper core and the mold base are formed as separate parts, It is necessary to repeat the process of assembling the cores and to combine the core and the mold base, a lot of parts are required, and accordingly, it takes a lot of time for preparation of the manufacturing process and the weight of the mold apparatus becomes heavy.
In order to solve this problem, the present invention can manufacture the
