Description
To a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot having a uniform composition and a method of manufacturing the same.
Structures using iron materials such as buildings, automobiles, and home appliances are likely to react with oxygen in the atmosphere and corrode, thereby improving the durability and corrosion resistance by forming a plating layer on the surface of the structure. Generally, the metal material used for forming the plating layer is copper, nickel, gold, tin, zinc, etc., and the plating layer can be formed by melting the metal material to prepare a liquid plating liquid and applying the plating liquid to the surface of the structure. On the other hand, in the case of a plated layer using a single metal material, the corrosion resistance is poor and the plated layer is easily peeled off from the structure. In recent years, plating is performed using a metal mixture mixed with various metal materials.
In recent years, plating using an ingot alloy having improved corrosion resistance, durability, heat resistance and impact resistance compared with zinc plating is increasing, and an ingot alloy is mainly manufactured by mixing zinc, magnesium and aluminum. However, magnesium is oxidized during the process of melting magnesium during the production of ingot alloy containing zinc, magnesium and aluminum, thereby generating a large amount of unnecessary oxides, causing contamination of the ingot alloy, flame, and explosion . Accordingly, an inert gas is injected at the time of manufacturing the ingot alloy containing zinc, magnesium and aluminum to prevent the magnesium from being exposed to the atmosphere to prevent the magnesium from being oxidized. However, global warming such as carbon dioxide, sulfur and fluorine is accelerated There is a problem in that the environment is contaminated by an inert gas containing a substance which makes it possible to generate a gas. In addition, there is a problem that the price of the inert gas is high and the price of the ingot alloy is increased.
Korean Patent No. 10-1224911 discloses an ingot for zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy plating which can be produced in the air without using the gas causing global warming and has high energy efficiency. However, in the prior art There is a problem in that the composition of the ingot alloy is not uniform and the molding is difficult because the ingot alloy is manufactured with a structure in which the other metal material surrounds magnesium in a solid lump state to prevent oxidation of magnesium. Further, in the process of re-melting the ingot alloy, the magnesium in the solid lump state is oxidized, and by-products are generated or the spark occurs and the magnesium alloy is exploded.
To a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot having a uniform composition which can be produced environmentally and environmentally without the use of an inert gas, and a method for producing the same. The present invention is not limited to the above-described technical problems, and another technical problem can be derived from the following description.

In the zinc melting step, the solid lumps of zinc are introduced into the molten material melted in the aluminum melting step and heated to a temperature of 550 to 900 ° C. to melt the molten material. In the molding step, the liquid molten mixture stirred in the stirring step may be poured into the mold while tapping in the crucible while maintaining the temperature at a temperature of 650 to 900 ° C.
A zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot according to another aspect of the present invention is manufactured by the above-described method of manufacturing a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot.
A magnesium melting step in which the magnesium ingot is introduced so as to be immersed in at least one of the zinc bar and the aluminum bar so as to be carried out after the aluminum melting step, the zinc melting step, the zinc melting step or the aluminum melting step, , A forming step, and a cooling step in an atmosphere without using an inert gas. Thus, it is possible to produce zinc-magnesium-aluminum for ingot having an environmentally friendly and uniform composition. Particularly, conventionally, in order to prevent oxidation of magnesium, an inert gas which causes global warming should be used. In this embodiment, a coating layer is formed on the surface of the melt, and magnesium is prevented from being oxidized by stirring while pushing the magnesium ingot into the melt It is more environmentally friendly.
In addition, zinc, magnesium, and aluminum are all melted and mixed, and they are molded and cooled to produce a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot having a uniform composition. As described above, the plating layer formed using the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot having a uniform composition has excellent performance such as corrosion resistance, durability, salt resistance and impact resistance. The zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot having various sizes and shapes can be manufactured by melting and mixing zinc, magnesium and aluminum, and molding the mixture into molten metal.
In addition, the magnesium ingot is charged into the melt in the magnesium melting step and the stirring step is performed for 3 to 15 minutes to completely melt the magnesium ingot in the solid lump state, thereby preventing the occurrence of flame and explosion due to oxidation of magnesium . Further, in the magnesium melting step, by further injecting a metal ingot containing beryllium, magnesium is prevented from being exposed to the atmosphere, thereby preventing oxidation of magnesium. In addition, since the oxidation of magnesium is prevented as described above, various safety accidents due to magnesium oxidation can be prevented.
In addition, in the molding step, the mixed molten material in the liquid phase contained in the crucible is kept at a high temperature of 650 to 900 DEG C while being sprinkled in the crucible and injected into the mold, thereby preventing the liquid molten material from solidifying during molding. Particularly, magnesium and aluminum, which have higher melting points than zinc, can be easily solidified. However, when a liquid molten mixture is maintained at a high temperature of 650 to 900 ° C higher than the melting point of magnesium and aluminum, And aluminum can be prevented from easily solidifying. Thus, the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot can be more easily manufactured.

2 is a flowchart illustrating a method of manufacturing a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot according to another embodiment of the present invention.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In the embodiments of the present invention, a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot having a uniform composition can be produced in the air without the use of an inert gas and is manufactured by melting both zinc, magnesium and aluminum while being environmentally friendly, and a method of manufacturing the same . Particularly, in this embodiment, the magnesium ingot in a solid lump state is placed so as to be immersed in at least one melt of the zinc and aluminum ingots, and the magnesium ingot is melted in the melt, thereby blocking the magnesium from being exposed to the atmosphere, can do. Accordingly, it is possible to produce a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot having improved performance such as durability, corrosion resistance, heat resistance and impact resistance.
The zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot according to this embodiment can be manufactured by mixing and melting an ash mass, a magnesium ingot, and an aluminum ingot to prepare a liquid mixed melt, and molding and cooling a liquid mixed melt. In this embodiment, the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot can be prepared by mixing zinc, magnesium and aluminum at a composition ratio of 40 to 90 wt% of zinc, 5 to 50 wt% of magnesium, and 5 to 50 wt% of aluminum . The properties and applications of zinc, magnesium and aluminum are described below.
Zinc is a bluish white metal that is hard and brittle at room temperature and has little electrical and ductility, but it can be easily processed with a solid or thin plate at temperatures between 100 and 150 ° C. In addition, zinc contained in the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot improves the gloss of the coating layer and improves the rust prevention and corrosion resistance. In particular, zinc reacts with water and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to form a protective film formed of basic zinc carbonate, thereby preventing magnesium from reacting with the atmosphere and oxidizing at the stage of manufacturing the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot.
The zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot may be used in an amount of 40 to 90% by weight based on the total weight of the alloy. If the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot has a zinc content of less than 40% by weight, a film can not be formed in the step of producing the zinc- It is difficult to prevent the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot from being polished, and the gloss, rust prevention and corrosion resistance of the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot may be deteriorated. When the zinc content exceeds 90% by weight, Cracks may be generated in the plated layer.
Magnesium is a silvery-white light metal with ductility that makes it easy to process with thin foil or thin wire. In particular, since magnesium has a light and rigid property, the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot of the present embodiment can be lightweight, thereby improving the economical efficiency, while hardening the plating layer using the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot, Durability and the like can be improved. However, magnesium has a strong oxidizing power and is easily oxidized in the atmosphere to explode or produce by-products. Accordingly, in this embodiment, magnesium is immersed in at least one of a zinc block and an aluminum block so that the magnesium block is immersed and stirred, thereby preventing magnesium from being exposed to the atmosphere, thereby preventing oxidation of magnesium.

1 is a flowchart illustrating a method of manufacturing a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot according to an embodiment of the present invention. 1, a method of manufacturing a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot according to the present embodiment includes an
In the aluminum fusing step (11), the aluminum ingot in a solid lump state is charged into the crucible and heated to a temperature of 600 to 950 캜 to be melted. First, an aluminum ingot suitable for the aluminum composition ratio is injected into a crucible at room temperature, and the aluminum ingot is melted by heating slowly. In particular, in the case of aluminum, the temperature of the crucible should be maintained at 600 to 950 ° C so that the aluminum ingot can be sufficiently melted at a melting point of about 660 ° C.
If the temperature falls below 600 ° C, the aluminum ingot will not sufficiently melt, making it difficult to produce a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot having a homogeneous composition, and preventing the oxidation of magnesium due to the formation of a coating layer on the surface of the melt If the temperature exceeds 950 ° C, zinc may be rapidly melted in the zinc melting step to be described later, resulting in the disappearance of zinc or the generation of smoke. The aluminum melting step is carried out for about 5 to 20 minutes. If the aluminum ingot is less than 5 minutes, the aluminum ingot is not sufficiently melted to form a melt, and if it is more than 20 minutes, aluminum is excessively oxidized and disappears, The production of zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingots may be difficult.
In the zinc melting step (12), the solid lumps of zinc may be introduced into the molten material melted in the aluminum melting step (11), and the molten material may be melted by heating at a temperature of 550 to 900 ° C. If the temperature falls below 550 캜, the zinc bar may not sufficiently melt and there may be a problem that the molten aluminum is re-solidified in the aluminum melting step described above. When the temperature exceeds 900 캜, the molten magnesium is melted in the magnesium melting step There is a problem that the magnesium is rapidly melted and the magnesium is lost or the magnesium is oxidized. The zinc melting step may be performed for about 5 to 20 minutes after the zinc ingot is introduced into the melt. If the zinc ingot is less than 5 minutes, the zinc ingot may not be sufficiently melted. If it exceeds 20 minutes, zinc is excessively oxidized and disappears, - Magnesium-aluminum alloy ingots may be difficult to manufacture.
Accordingly, in the zinc melting step (12), the melted zinc in the solid lump state is melted and melted in the molten melt in the aluminum melting step (11), so that a molten material in which aluminum and zinc are uniformly melted can be produced. On the other hand, when the hot molten material melted in the
In this embodiment, the stirring
In the aluminum melting step (11) and the zinc melting step (12), aluminum and zinc are heated to a high temperature inside the crucible and melted and react with oxygen to form an oxide type coating. That is, on the surface of the melt melted in the
Conventionally, it has been difficult to completely melt magnesium by the strong oxidizing power of magnesium, but in this embodiment, a coating layer of aluminum and zinc is formed on the surface of the melt to prevent the magnesium from being exposed to the atmosphere to prevent oxidation of magnesium . However, since the specific gravity of magnesium in the solid state is lower than that of the liquid aluminum and liquid zinc, when the magnesium ingot is charged in the
As described above, the magnesium layer on the upper surface of the melt does not function to block the contact between the atmosphere and the melt, so that the oxidation of magnesium can be accelerated. In addition, according to the present embodiment, the amount of zinc, magnesium, and aluminum is increased due to the continuous oxidation of zinc, magnesium, and aluminum due to the inflow of oxygen into the interior of the melt through the surface of the melt, Magnesium alloy ingot having a composition ratio of 50 to 50 wt% and magnesium of 5 to 50 wt% may be difficult to manufacture. As a result, the corrosion resistance, durability, impact resistance, gloss, etc. of the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot may be deteriorated.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, in the present embodiment, a coating layer is formed on the surface of the melt to prevent the oxidation of magnesium, as well as the magnesium ingot is introduced into the melt in the magnesium melting step (13) It is possible to prevent the magnesium from being oxidized by performing a stirring step (14) in which the molten mass of the ingot is immersed in the molten material while stirring the molten mass. Particularly, in the stirring
On the other hand, in the
The metal ingot containing beryllium charged in the
In the stirring step (14), the magnesium ingot is agitated while pressing the magnesium ingot so as to be immersed in at least one of the zinc ingot and the aluminum ingot. Further, the stirring
In the shaping
Particularly, since aluminum and magnesium have a high melting point of 650 ° C or higher, if the temperature of the mixed molten liquid falls to 650 ° C or lower, the aluminum and magnesium easily become hard and the molding and processing may be difficult. Accordingly, in the
In the cooling step (16), the molten mixture in the liquid phase cools the injected mold. In the cooling step (16), the liquid mixed molten material injected into the mold is cooled slowly so that the mixed molten material injected into the mold in the molding step (15) is in a liquid state having flowability, Zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot can be produced. For example, cooling can be naturally cooled by leaving a mold containing a liquid mixed melt, and the mold containing the liquid mixed melt can be cooled by passing through a cooling box or through a cooling tunnel to form a solidified zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy Can be prepared. The cooling can be carried out in various ways and is not limited to the above-mentioned method.
2 is a flowchart illustrating a method of manufacturing a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot according to another embodiment of the present invention. 2, the method of manufacturing the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot of the present embodiment includes a
In the zinc melting step (21), a zinc ingot in a solid lump state is put into a crucible and heated to a temperature of 550 to 900 DEG C to be melted. First, the zinc bulb is put into a crucible at room temperature and slowly heated to melt the zinc bar. In particular, zinc may be sufficiently melted at a temperature of about 420 DEG C to 550 DEG C, but may be sufficiently melted at a
If the temperature is lowered to 550 ° C or below, zinc may not be sufficiently melted. If the temperature exceeds 900 ° C, magnesium to be melted in the melt is rapidly melted in a magnesium melting step (to be described later) There may be a problem of being oxidized. The zinc melting step (21) is carried out for about 5 to 20 minutes after the zinc is charged into the melt. When the zinc is melted for less than 5 minutes, the zinc may not sufficiently melt. When the zinc is melted for more than 20 minutes, It may be difficult to produce a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot having a composition ratio.
Further, in the zinc melting step (21), the zinc bar is melted inside the crucible to form a melt, and a part thereof is oxidized to form an oxide type coating. That is, on the surface of the molten material melted in the
If the temperature falls below 650 ° C, the magnesium ingot introduced into the melt may not be sufficiently melted to produce a liquid mixed melt having a uniform composition. If the temperature exceeds 950 ° C, magnesium is rapidly melted and oxidized May occur. This
On the other hand, as described above, the mass of magnesium may float to the top of the melt due to the difference in specific gravity.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, in the present embodiment, a coating layer is formed on the surface of the melt to prevent the magnesium from being oxidized. In addition, the magnesium ingot is injected into the melt in the magnesium melting step (22) It is possible to prevent the magnesium from being oxidized by carrying out a stirring step (23) in which the molten mass of the ingot is immersed in the molten material while stirring the molten mass. In particular, in the stirring
In the stirring step (23), the molten magnesium in the crucible is stirred while pushing the magnesium ingot so that the magnesium ingot is immersed in the melt of the zinc ingot. The stirring
Further, the stirring
In the aluminum melting step (24), the aluminum ingot in the solid lump state is charged into the molten material in the magnesium melting step (22) into the crucible and heated at a temperature of 600 to 950 캜 to be melted. For the reasons described above, the aluminum ingot may be introduced into the molten melt in the
On the other hand, when the molten aluminum melted in the
If the temperature falls below 600 ° C, the aluminum ingot will not sufficiently melt, making it difficult to produce a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot having a homogeneous composition, and preventing the oxidation of magnesium due to the formation of a coating layer on the surface of the melt If the temperature exceeds 950 ° C, magnesium in the melt may be oxidized to produce byproducts, which can contaminate the ingot alloy or generate sparks. The aluminum melting step (24) is performed for about 5 to 20 minutes. If the aluminum melting step is less than 5 minutes, the aluminum ingot is not sufficiently melted to form a melt, and if it is more than 20 minutes, aluminum is excessively oxidized and disappears It may be difficult to produce a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot having a desired composition ratio.

According to the embodiment of the present invention described above, a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot was prepared as follows. The contents of the embodiments described above are followed even if omitted. First, about 25 kg of aluminum mass was charged into a crucible, and the aluminum mass was melted by heating at a temperature of about 900 캜 to obtain a primary melt. Subsequently, 50 kg of zinc was charged into the primary melt, and the zinc melt was melted by heating at a temperature of about 850 DEG C, thereby melting the zinc mass and the aluminum mass to obtain a mixed secondary melt. Then, 25 kg of the magnesium ingot was charged into the secondary melt mixed with the zinc bar and the aluminum mass, and the mixture was heated at a temperature of about 800 ° C and stirred for 10 minutes to melt the zinc bar, the aluminum bar, and the magnesium bar To obtain a mixed liquid molten mixture.
The molten mixture in the liquid phase contained in the crucible was sprinkled through a heating tube maintained at a temperature of about 800 DEG C, and the molten mixture was poured into an ingot-shaped mold. 1> ≪ Test Example 1 >
In Test Example 1, zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingots prepared in Examples 1 and 2 and Comparative Examples 1, 2 and 3 were re-melted to form a plating layer on the surface of the structure, and then a test was performed to compare the water resistance of the plating layer . First, a zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot produced according to Example 1 was re-melted to prepare a plating solution, and the resulting coating solution was applied to bricks having a size of 7 cm x 15 cm x 5 cm and dried to prepare four bricks having a plating layer. Subsequently, a plating solution was prepared from the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot produced according to Example 2 and Comparative Examples 1, 2, and 3, and four bricks each having a plated layer were formed through the same procedure as in Example 1.
Next, 5% sulfuric acid solution (acidic), 5% sodium hydroxide solution (alkaline), distilled water (neutral) and 10% sodium chloride solution were prepared in each water bath to check acid resistance, alkali resistance, water resistance and salt resistance. A total of five bricks having a plating layer formed of the ingots of Examples 1 and 2 and Comparative Examples 1, 2 and 3 were put into a 5% sulfuric acid solution. The rest of the solution was injected with five bricks in the same process. After 7 days, each brick with the plated layer was taken out and the state of the plated layer was confirmed.
The results of Table 1 show that the plating layer formed using the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot according to Examples 1 and 2 exhibits good conditions without problems such as cracking and plating layer peeling in acidic, alkaline, neutral and saltous fluids. On the other hand, the plating layers formed using the ingot alloys according to Comparative Examples 1, 2, and 3 had problems such as fine cracks, cracks, peeling of the plating layer in all of the acidic, alkaline, neutral and saltous fluids. As a result, in the case of the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot manufactured to have a uniform composition by completely melting the magnesium in the solid state as in this embodiment, compared with Comparative Examples 1, 2 and 3 in which the solid magnesium was not completely melted Excellent corrosion resistance, salt resistance and water resistance.
2> ≪ Test Example 2 &
In Test Example 3, the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingots produced in Examples 1 and 2 and Comparative Examples 1, 2 and 3 were re-melted to form a plating layer on the surface of the structure, and then the adhesion of the plating layer to the surface of the structure was compared .
First, a ingot of zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy for ingot prepared according to Example 1 was remelted to prepare a plating solution, which was then applied to bricks having a size of 7 cm x 15 cm x 5 cm and dried to produce a brick having a plated layer formed thereon. Then, a Scotch tape was attached to one side of the brick having the plated layer formed in Example 1, and the Scotch tape was removed after one hour. The adhesiveness was judged by the presence or absence of the plating layer on the scotch tape. Further, the bricks having the plating layer formed in the same manner as in the above-described method using the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingots of Example 2 and Comparative Examples 1, 2 and 3 were evaluated for adherability by the same method using a scotch tape .
As shown in Table 3, in the case of the plating layer using the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot manufactured according to Examples 1 and 2, the surface of the structure and the plating layer were strongly adhered to each other, so that the plating layer was not peeled from the surface of the structure. On the other hand, in the case of the plating layer using the ingot alloy produced according to Comparative Examples 1, 2 and 3, the scotch tape is removed, and at the same time, the plating layer is peeled from the surface of the structure. Accordingly, it can be seen that the plating layer using the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot according to this embodiment is excellent in adhesion.
3> ≪ Test Example 3 >
In Test Example 4, changes in the state of the zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy ingot were observed according to the difference in stirring time by varying the agitation time after the magnesium ingot in a solid lump state was added to the melt in the magnesium melting step. Respectively.
In the case of Example 1, magnesium was charged in the magnesium melting step and stirred for 10 minutes. In Comparative Example 2, no stirring step was performed. In Comparative Example 3, stirring was performed for 60 minutes. As shown in Table 4, when agitation was performed for the time shown in this example, there was no problem that the mass of magnesium was floated to the upper portion of the melt or spark occurred. On the other hand, when stirring was not performed as in Comparative Example 2, it was found that the magnesium mass was not completely melted as the mass of magnesium mass floated to the upper portion of the melt. In addition, as in Comparative Example 3, when excessive stirring was performed outside the time range shown in this example, it was found that the flame was generated by rubbing against the apparatus used for stirring and reacting with oxygen in the atmosphere. Accordingly, as shown in this example, when the stirring step is performed for 3 to 15 minutes, it can be determined that magnesium is completely oxidized while being completely melted.
