Abstract
An oil filter according to the present invention is an oil filter in which an interior is a cavity and has an inlet which is a passage through which oil flows, and an outlet through which the filtered oil flows, A first filter for filtering the gas; A second filter disposed on the first filter for filtering fine impurities contained in oil that has passed through the first filter; A housing for inserting the first filter and the second filter therein, and a cover coupled to one side of the housing to seal the housing.
The present invention can increase the filtration efficiency of the oil to which the impurity is added, and it is possible to reduce the cost by replacing the filter by extending the replacement period of the filter.
Description
The present invention relates to an oil filter and an oil filtering apparatus including the oil filter.
Generally, an oil filtration apparatus filters out impurities such as sludge, carbon, dust, and metal powder contained in oil, thereby maintaining the oiliness of a high-purity oil. In addition, moisture contained in the oil is removed to ensure the stability of the device. Currently, various filtration devices for filtering impurities in oil have been developed.
As is known, the oil filter element used in automobiles filters dust, carbon, metal powders, oxidation products, etc. mixed with oil, and usually has to be changed every 5,000 to 10,000 kilometers when traveling at a relatively short distance.
This is because, when the oil filter element is filtered while impregnating the oil with the impurities, the impurities are present in the element while the vehicle travels at the above travel distance, resulting in an increase in the pressure with the oil.
Therefore, when the oil pressure is increased, the oil pressure is excessively caught in the lubrication circuit, and in a severe case, the oil filter may be ruptured.
An object of the present invention is to provide a highly reliable oil filter and oil filtration device for filtering contaminated oil.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an oil filter and an oil filtration device capable of reducing the number of filter replacement times and reducing the maintenance cost of the device.
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided an oil filter having an internal cavity and an inlet, which is a passage through which oil flows, and an outlet through which the filtered oil flows, A first filter for filtering the metal material contained in the oil introduced into the oil inlet through the inlet; A second filter disposed on the first filter for filtering fine impurities contained in oil that has passed through the first filter; A housing for inserting the first filter and the second filter therein, and a cover coupled to one side of the housing to seal the housing.
