Description
BACKGROUND OF THE
The speaker is a device that generates sound by converting electric energy into mechanical energy by a voice coil existing between the voids according to Fleming's left-hand rule. In recent years, due to the increasing popularity of small electronic devices requiring a small built-in speaker including a smart phone, there is an increasing demand for a slim micro speaker of a small size.
In the case of a micro speaker, a structure for ensuring a good sound quality even in a limited space is considered because there is a limitation in the structure such as the size, the shape, and the position of the sound emitting hole. In particular, the enclosure micro speaker module is provided in an enclosure case in which the micro speaker functions as a resonance space, and the enclosure case is mounted in the electronic device. The sound generated from the micro speaker is resonated and emitted in the enclosure case, It is possible to improve the sound quality and the volume. Especially, the resonance space in the speaker is an important factor for the low frequency characteristics. The larger the resonance frequency, the better the reproduction of the low frequency range and the wider the reproduction bandwidth.
In recent years, a micro speaker having an air adsorbent has been developed to further enhance such low frequency characteristics. Zeolite or activated carbon is placed inside the enclosure to create a virtual back volume, or resonance space, using adsorption and desorption of air molecules. European Patent No. 2424270, European Patent Publication No. 2015-0358721 and US Patent No. 8687836 disclose loudspeakers with zeolites and enhanced low frequencies.
However, such conventional microspeakers with an air adsorbent have the problem that in actual use the air adsorbent is moved inside the enclosure and contaminates other components of the micro speaker. Air adsorbents such as zeolite and activated carbon are generally manufactured by powdering and then secondarily molded into granules. The granules of air adsorbent are naturally moved to other constituent parts by the use of a micro speaker, . Such contamination may degrade the performance of the micro speaker, such as affecting the shaking of the diaphragm itself, and may reduce the effect of creating a virtual back volume, especially as the air adsorbent moves away from the enclosure resonance space. In addition, the ventilation hole between the diaphragm inner space and resonance space of the micro speaker is blocked to prevent smooth air circulation, which means that the function of the resonance space is deteriorated.
1 shows a photograph of a micro speaker with a conventional air adsorbent as a result of an aging test. 1 (a) is a micro speaker having an air adsorbent before the life test, and has a speaker unit s in the
FIG. 2 is a graph comparing the sound pressure level (unit: dB) of each frequency (unit: Hz) by operating the micro speaker before and after the life test of FIG. 1, It can be observed that the low-frequency sound pressure level after the test is somewhat lower than the low-frequency sound pressure level before the life test. That is, the effect of the air adsorbent, which is the strengthening of the low band, is somewhat reduced. As described above, the micro speaker having the conventional air adsorbent has a problem of performance deterioration after a certain period of use.

In the present specification, the reference numerals in some drawings are omitted for the sake of readability of the drawings, if they are construed corresponding to the drawings or can be easily confirmed to be the same.
Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing a general structure of a micro speaker having an air adsorbent according to the prior art, and Fig. 4 is an exploded perspective view (air adsorbent is omitted) of the micro speaker of Fig. The
The
The
FIG. 5 is a partially enlarged cross-sectional view for illustrating a problem that may occur in a micro speaker using such an air adsorbent according to the related art. FIG. 6 is a cross- (Air adsorbent is omitted in the figure). The

According to an embodiment of the present invention, the micro speaker may include an air adsorbent inflow preventing means for preventing the inflow hole (h, not shown in the figure) of the

According to another embodiment of the present invention, the air adsorbent inflow preventing means may be a binder which binds a plurality of grains of the
For example, as shown in FIG. 10, the binder may be a mesh-shaped

By forming the ventilation holes h so as to open in various directions on the side surface of the frame 40 ', the resonance space R and the magnetic resonance space H are formed in the resonance space R in spite of the inflow of the
As can be seen from the above description, the present invention suggests various solutions to the problem of life shortening due to the movement of the air adsorbent, which has not been attempted in the prior art.
