Abstract
According to one embodiment, a bezel is omitted and a display device with improved appearance can be provided. The display device includes a display panel that forms an image, a bottom chassis positioned behind the display panel, and a fixing member that is positioned between the display panel and the bottom chassis and fixes the display panel to the bottom chassis.
Description
The present invention relates to a display device having an improved assembly structure.
A display device is a device that visually displays data information such as graphics on a character. The display device includes a liquid crystal display device and a frame on which the liquid crystal display device is mounted.
Since the display panel is a passive optical element that can not emit light by itself, an image can be displayed using a backlight unit attached to the rear surface of the display panel. The size and the light efficiency of the display panel are changed according to the structure of the backlight unit, and the mechanical and optical characteristics of the entire display panel are greatly affected.
The backlight unit can be divided into direct type and edge type according to the position of the light source. A direct-type backlight unit is a method of directly illuminating the entire panel by placing a light source on the bottom of the display panel.
Can be dispersed and positioned in the entire rear area of the direct-type backlight display panel. The upper part of the light source may be provided with a lens for dispersing the light emitted from the light source. The lens disperses the light emitted from the light source to the surroundings, and disperses the light in a circular shape when the light source is viewed from above.
In the edge type backlight unit, a light source is provided at a rear side of the display panel. The light emitted from one side of the display panel is dispersed by the light guide plate positioned between the backlight unit and the display panel, and can be uniformly incident on the display panel.
In recent years, a display device having a thin thickness and a reduced width of a bezel has been implemented in order to improve the beauty of a display device.
According to one embodiment, a bezel is omitted and a display device with improved appearance can be provided.
Further, the display panel can be stably fixed, and a display device which can be easily separated for repairing and checking can be provided.
A display device according to an embodiment includes a display panel for forming an image; A bottom sash positioned behind the display panel; And a fixing member positioned between the display panel and the bottom chassis and fixing the display panel to the bottom chassis.
The fixing member is mounted on a back surface of at least one end of the display panel.
The fixing member is fixed to the bottom chassis by a hook method.
A fixing protrusion is protruded from the inner surface of the bottom chassis, and the fixing member is positioned to be interfered with the fixing protrusion.
The fixing member may include a first extending portion fixed to a back surface of the display panel, a second extending portion bent and extended from the first extending portion, and a second extending portion extending from the second extending portion so as to be bent and interfered by the fixing protrusion. And a third extension portion provided.
The upper end of the display panel is fixed by a fixing member by a hook method.
The fixing member is magnetically provided.
A bracket of a metal material is mounted on the back surface of the display panel, and the bracket is provided to be able to be coupled to the fixing member by magnetism.
