Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE
Generally, bicycle brakes can be divided into rim brakes and disc brakes.
Rim brakes are applied to the principle of leverage. One braking arm is mounted on the bicycle frame using pivot bolts, and another brake arm is provided on the opposite side of the wheel's horizontal line.
Also, connect the wire from the brake lever installed on the bicycle handle to the brake, fix the end of the wire to the end of one brake arm, and install the U-tube on the other brake arm.
Accordingly, when the user pulls the brake lever, the brake arms on both sides are collected, and the rim of the bicycle wheel is braked with the brake pad of the rubber material attached to the brake arm on both sides by the principle of the lever.
On the other hand, a disc brake is disposed between a caliper (a device for braking and braking a disc) connected to a bike shaft (hub) and a pair of disc pads with a disc at the center in the caliper.
In the hydraulic type, there is an oil cylinder on the brake lever. When the brake lever is held by hand, hydraulic pressure is generated and transmitted to the caliper. The hydraulic pressure thus transmitted is transmitted to the inside of the caliper through the rubber or wear material The brakes are made by moving the brake pads of the brake pedal toward the disc.
As described above, since the conventional braking device brakes by utilizing the frictional force due to the contact between the rubber pad and the wheel, the pad is physically worn or damaged due to the contact, so the brake pad must be periodically replaced.
If you miss the replacement time, the braking force or braking distance will vary greatly depending on the wear of the pad, which can lead to unexpected accidents.
According to the embodiment of the present invention, it is desired to provide a braking device for a bicycle in which the user can recognize the replacement timing of the brake pads in a smarter manner.
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a braking device for a bicycle including a brake arm and a brake shoe, the brake shoe includes a pad, and the pad includes a perfume member .
The pad may include at least two layers, and may include a first wear layer provided on the outer side and a second wear layer provided on the inner side of the first wear layer and provided with the perfume member.
In addition, the perfume member may be provided as a perfume capsule so as to emit a perfume when the second wear layer is worn.
In addition, the first abrasion layer and the second abrasion layer may be formed of a rubber material and bonded.
Further, the bicycle may include a front wheel or a rear wheel provided with rims, and the pads may contact the rim during braking.
The braking device of the bicycle according to the embodiment of the present invention mixes fragrance-emitting particles on the pad of the brake shoe which is a consumable part so that the odor of the pad is worn out when the proper amount is worn out, Can be done.
