Abstract
The present invention discloses a sink having an ultraviolet sterilizing function that can easily sterilize various kitchen utensils. A main body, a housing, a cover panel, a scattering means, and a controller. The main body includes a storage chamber formed to accommodate the kitchen utensil and an upper plate having a hole formed therein to be connected to the storage chamber. The housing is mounted in the storage chamber through a hole, a window is formed on the upper side, and ultraviolet rays can be transmitted through the window. The scattering means is composed of a concavo-convex pattern or a scattering film formed on either the upper surface or the lower surface of the cover panel so as to scatter ultraviolet rays so as to limit the range of irradiation of ultraviolet rays from the upper surface of the upper plate. The ultraviolet light source is mounted in the housing and irradiates ultraviolet rays for ultraviolet sterilization of kitchen utensils placed above the cover panel and in the compartment. The controller is mounted on one side of the housing to control the operation of the UV source. A user interface for flashing the ultraviolet source is connected to the controller. According to the present invention, various kitchen utensils such as chopping boards and tableware placed on the upper surface of the cover panel and the storage compartment can be easily sterilized by ultraviolet rays by ultraviolet rays emitted from an ultraviolet source, and the user can be prevented from being exposed to ultraviolet rays There is a very practical and simple effect that can improve safety.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a sink, and more particularly, to a sink having an ultraviolet sterilizing function capable of easily sterilizing ultraviolet rays of various kitchen appliances such as cutlery and tableware.
Ultraviolet sterilization uses ultraviolet rays of wavelengths of 250 to 260 nm to sterilize microorganisms such as bacteria, Escherichia coli, fungi, and yeast. Ultraviolet lamps are commonly used for ultraviolet sterilization, and ultraviolet lamps are also called germicidal lamps. Ultraviolet lamps are quartz tubes that can transmit ultraviolet rays or low-pressure mercury lamps that contain a small amount of mercury in special glass tubes. Recently, the use of ultraviolet light emitting diodes (UV LED) has been increasingly used for ultraviolet sterilization. Ultraviolet LEDs are more efficient than ultraviolet lamps, have lower cost, and are easier to miniaturize.
These ultraviolet sterilization techniques are being adopted in various forms in kitchen furniture and appliances. Patent No. 10-0442591 entitled "Ultraviolet sterilization device for kitchen" includes a casing, an ultraviolet lamp installed in the casing, a kitchen appliance conveying device mounted on the bottom of the casing and carrying and transporting kitchen appliances, and a control panel panel. Registration Practical Utility Model No. 20-0374420 "Combined kitchen furniture with dishwasher" is composed of a dishwasher installed in a sink and an ultraviolet lamp installed in a dishwasher to sterilize ultraviolet rays of the dishwasher.
In the above-described kitchen furniture, there is a problem that the ultraviolet lamp is installed in the closed space and ultraviolet sterilization of various kitchen appliances is very troublesome and inconvenient. Therefore, there is a demand for sterilization of ultraviolet rays of kitchen utensils in the sink easily and effectively.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a sink having a new ultraviolet sterilizing function which can satisfy the above-mentioned demand.
According to one aspect of the present invention, a sink having an ultraviolet sterilizing function is provided. A sink unit having an ultraviolet sterilizing function according to the present invention comprises a main body having a storage chamber formed to accommodate a kitchen utensil and an upper plate having a hole formed to be connected to the storage chamber; A housing mounted in the housing chamber through a hole, a window formed on the upper side and capable of transmitting ultraviolet rays; A cover panel mounted on the window and capable of transmitting ultraviolet rays; Scattering means provided on at least one of the upper surface and the lower surface of the cover panel and scattering ultraviolet rays to limit the range of irradiation of the ultraviolet rays from the upper surface of the upper plate; An ultraviolet source mounted in the housing for irradiating ultraviolet rays for sterilizing ultraviolet rays of a kitchen utensil placed in an upper portion of the cover panel and a storage room; And a controller mounted on one side of the housing for controlling the operation of the ultraviolet light source and connected with a user interface for blinking the ultraviolet light source.
In addition, the scattering means of the sink according to the present invention is composed of a concavo-convex pattern or scattering film formed on either the upper surface or the lower surface of the cover panel. The proximity sensor is mounted on one side of the main body so as to detect the user's approach and input to the controller, and the controller is configured to destroy the ultraviolet source according to a signal input from the proximity sensor.
The sink having an ultraviolet sterilizing function according to the present invention can easily sanitize the kitchen utensils such as chopping boards and tableware placed on the upper surface of the cover panel and the storage room by ultraviolet rays easily by ultraviolet rays emitted from an ultraviolet source, There is a very practical and simple effect of preventing exposure to ultraviolet rays and improving safety.

Claims (4)
A housing mounted in the accommodating chamber through the hole, having a window formed thereon and capable of transmitting ultraviolet rays;
