Description

A manhole cover having a locking function

The present invention relates to a manhole cover having a locking function, and more particularly, to a manhole cover having at least two parts including an upper manhole cover and a lower manhole cover by using a locking device.

Generally, a manhole is a hole that allows people to enter the underground from the road surface. It is divided into upper, drain, superior, and telecommunication depending on the application, and is installed at regular intervals on the road.

The upper end of the manhole is provided with a manhole cover formed of a casting so as to be able to go out for maintenance of the underground stuff. When a vehicle running at a high speed passes over the placed hallhole cover, A manhole with a locking function is proposed due to a closure that can cause a safety accident due to a noise or a deviation from the outside when it is severe.

In addition, in the case of a manhole used for telecommunication, no stormwater should flow into the inside. Therefore, there is a need for a manhole cover having a structure in which no rain is introduced into the inside.

Korean Patent No. 10-1214504 entitled " Manhole with Manhole Cap Locking Function " Korean Patent No. 10-1264059 entitled " Locking device for manhole cover and manhole cover "

A problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a manhole cover fastened to a manhole.

Another problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a manhole cover which prevents the inflow of rainwater into the manhole.

Another problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a manhole cover that prevents the impact from being separated by an external impact.

To this end, the manhole cover having a locking function of the present invention has a circular upper manhole cover having a through hole at the center and having a wing having a different thickness with the center of the through hole, a lower upper manhole cover located below the upper manhole cover, A circular lower manhole cover having a first protrusion protruding upward from the point where the through hole is formed and a second protrusion protruding upward by a predetermined length on the longitudinal surface; And a base member for pressing the first projection formed on the lower manhole cover.

The manhole cover having a locking function according to the present invention is fixedly fastened to the upper and lower manhole covers using a locking device to prevent the upper menhole cover from being detached from the lower manhole cover from an external impact.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The foregoing and further aspects of the present invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description of preferred embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Reference will now be made in detail to the embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 1 illustrates a frame to be coupled to a manhole according to an embodiment of the present invention. Hereinafter, a detailed description will be made of a frame coupled to a manhole according to an embodiment of the present invention with reference to FIG.

The frame 10 is fastened to the manhole body and has a circular shape. The inside of the frame 10 has an empty through-hole shape, and a manhole cover is drawn in. An elastic material (for example, urethane) is disposed between the frame 10 and the manhole cover, thus preventing rainwater from penetrating between the frame 10 and the manhole cover.

The frame 10 is fastened to the manhole body using concrete or the like.

FIG. 2 illustrates a manhole cover according to an embodiment of the present invention. Hereinafter, the structure of the manhole cover according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIG.

Referring to FIG. 2, the manhole cover 100 includes an upper manhole cover 110, a lower manhole cover 130, and a locking device 120. The upper manhole cover 110 is located at the upper portion of the manhole cover, and a through hole through which the locking device 120 is inserted is formed at the center. A screw thread is formed on the inner side of the through hole.

The lower manhole cover 130 is located below the upper manhole cover 110, and the outermost portion is in close contact with the frame. A protruding portion is formed at a portion spaced from the center of the lower manhole cover 130 by a certain distance, and a certain portion of the protruding portion is moved by external pressure.

The locking device 120 functions to fasten the upper manhole cover 110 and the lower manhole cover 130. As described above, the locking device 120 is partially inserted into the through hole formed in the upper manhole cover 110, and a thread is formed on the outside of the drawn-in portion. The locking device 120 is moved up and down by a formed screw and the upper manhole cover 110 is detachable from the lower manhole cover 130 when the locking device 120 is moved upward, The upper and lower manhole covers 110 and 130 are fixedly fastened. This will be described later.

3 is a view illustrating a structure of an upper-side manhole cover according to an embodiment of the present invention. Hereinafter, the structure of the upper manhole cover according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIG.

3, the upper-side manhole cover includes a wing portion and a through-hole. Of course, other configurations than the above-described configuration can be included in the upper-side manhole cover proposed in the present invention.

The through hole 112 is located at the center of the upper manhole cover 110, and a thread is formed inside. The diameter of the through hole 112 is not the same, but the diameter of the upper portion is relatively larger than that of the lower portion. This is because the lower portion of the through hole 112 penetrates the central portion of the locking device 120 while the upper portion of the through hole 112 is the upper portion of the locking device 120. This will be described in detail in the structure of the locking device.

The wing portion 114 is formed in a circular shape having a predetermined thickness based on the through hole 112 formed at the center of the upper side manhole cover 110.

The upper end face of the wing portion 114 is formed as a flat plane, while the lower end face has a different length with respect to the upper face of the upper end face. For example, the wing portion 114 may include a first wing portion 114-2 and a second wing portion 114-1. One side of the first wing portion 114-2 is in close contact with the through hole 112 and the other side is in close contact with the second wing portion 114-1. One side of the second wing portion 114-1 is connected to the other side of the first wing portion 114-2 and the other side is tightened inward of the lower side manhole cover 130. [

The first wing portion 114-2 has the same thickness, while the second wing portion 114-1 has a different thickness as described above. The thickness of the second wing portion 114-1 which is in close contact with the first wing portion 114-2 is largest relative to other portions of the second wing portion 114-1, The thickness of the other side which is in close contact with the inner side is relatively small. That is, as shown in FIG. 3, the lower end surface of the second wing portion 114-1 is inclined from one side to the other side. The second wing portion 114-1 which is in close contact with the first wing portion 114-2 is not formed in a vertical direction with respect to the upper end surface of the wing portion but is formed such that the lower end portion protrudes in a round shape by a predetermined length . Thus, the lower end end portion is protruded by a predetermined length so that the lower side manhole cover is not detached.

4 is a view showing a configuration of a locking device according to an embodiment of the present invention. Hereinafter, the configuration of the locking device according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIG.

According to Fig. 4, the locking device includes a base member and a threaded portion. Of course, other configurations than those described above may be included in the locking device proposed by the present invention.

The base member 122 has a flat shape having a predetermined thickness, in particular, a relatively thicker rim portion and a relatively thinner central portion portion. By thus making the thickness of the central portion relatively thin, the locking device freely moves up and down on the upper manhole cover by the rotation of the screw portion 124. [

The end of the base member 122 has an inclined shape. In particular, the end of the base member 122 is formed such that the radius of the upper end surface is longer than the radius of the lower end surface with respect to the center. In other words, the termination of the base member 122 is formed to be inclined at the lower end face at the upper end face, and in particular, the inclined face is designed to have an obtuse angle with respect to the lower end face of the base member.

A threaded portion 124 is formed at the center of the base member 122. The threaded portion 124 includes a threaded portion and a head portion for rotating the threaded portion. The portion having the thread is drawn into the lower end of the through hole of the upper manhole cover, and the head portion is positioned at the upper end of the through hole of the upper manhole cover. Accordingly, the base member 122 moves up and down with respect to the upper-side manhole cover by the rotation of the head portion. In addition, as described above, the through hole of the upper side manhole cover has a relatively larger upper end than the lower end so that the head can be easily rotated.

In other words, the length of the threaded portion of the base member is relatively larger than the length of the threaded portion of the upper-side manhole cover. By forming the screw thread formed on the base member relatively large in this manner, the locking device can freely move up and down by rotation on the upper manhole cover.

5 is a view showing a configuration of a lower side manhole cover according to an embodiment of the present invention. Hereinafter, the construction of a lower manhole cover according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIG.

According to Fig. 5, the lower manhole cover includes a base plate, a first protrusion, and a second protrusion. Of course, it is obvious that other configurations other than the above-described configuration can be included in the lower manhole cover proposed in the present invention.

The base plate 132 has a flat plate shape having a predetermined thickness, and has a hollow opening shape at the center. As shown in Fig. 5, the base plate 132 has a circular shape to be in close contact with the circular frame.

The first protrusion 134 protrudes from the through hole formed at the center of the base plate 132 by a predetermined length and is separated into at least two portions. Referring to FIG. 6, although the first protrusion 134 is divided into four portions, the number of the protrusions 134 may be different according to the designer's design intention.

The end of the first protrusion 134 is not formed of '?' But has a shape in which one side is protruded by a certain length in a round shape. The thickness of the first protrusion 134 is relatively thin compared to the thickness of the second protrusion 136. That is, the first protrusion 134 can be bent by an external impact.

The second protrusion 136 is positioned at the end of the base plate 132 and protrudes at a predetermined height. Further, as described above, the thickness of the second protrusion 136 is formed to be relatively large compared to the thickness of the first protrusion 134. The height of the top surface of the second protrusion 136 is equal to the height of the top surface of the upper manhole cover. By doing so, the height of the upper end surfaces of the upper manhole cover and the lower manhole cover becomes the same. That is, the height of the second protrusions 136 is relatively larger than the height of the first protrusions 134.

FIG. 6 illustrates a state in which an upper manhole cover is fastened to a lower manhole cover according to an embodiment of the present invention. Hereinafter, a state in which the upper manhole cover is fastened to the lower manhole cover according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIG.

In particular, FIG. 6 (a) shows a case where the locking device is located on the upper side, and FIG. 6 (b) shows a state where the locking device is located on the lower side.

According to FIG. 6 (a), when the locking device is located on the upper side, even if the first protrusion of the lower manhole cover is not completely or closely attached to the second wing portion of the upper-side manhole cover, it is easily separated from the external impact.

6 (b), when the locking device is positioned at the lower end, the base member constituting the locking device moves to the lower end. By the movement of the base member, the base member presses the first projection portion of the lower- do. Further, the first protrusion is bent outward by the pressing of the base member, whereby the first protrusion is completely brought into close contact with the upper-side manhole cover. As shown in FIG. 6, the second wing portion constituting the upper side manhole cover closely contacting the first projection portion is configured to protrude by a predetermined length in a vertical shape with reference to the upper end surface, And is designed so that one side of the manhole cover is protruded by a certain length in a round shape.

While the present invention has been particularly shown and described with reference to exemplary embodiments thereof, it will be understood by those of ordinary skill in the art that various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the scope of the present invention .
