Abstract

A bulwark structure for a bow of a ship is disclosed. The bulwark structure for a bow of a ship, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a bulwark platform which is extended outward from the edge of an upper deck in the front of a bow to the sea by a predetermined distance; and a bulwark panel which is extended along the front end edge of the bulwark platform in a longitudinal direction. Therefore, the present invention reduces the invalid space of the upper deck.

Description

BULWARK STRUCTURE FOR BOW OF SHIP}

The present invention relates to a bulwark structure of a ship bow portion for preventing seawater intrusion onto an upper deck of a ship.

Floating marine structures, such as FPSO, FLNG, drillships, etc., for producing oil or gas at sea in general, perform operations to produce oil or gas while mooring at a specified sea for a long period of time. These drill rigs are subject to heavy waves and green water that is generated by seawater bumping into hulls or colliding with reefs during mooring in badly yearly marine conditions, overtopping the upper deck, It may cause damage to various equipment for producing gas.

To prevent this, a bulwark is installed at the bow of the ship to prevent penetration of green water. However, as shown in Fig. 1, the bulwark 10 is provided with a bulwark panel 12 extending in the vertical direction to prevent penetration of green water at the leading edge of the forefront deck 11, Reinforcing member 14 for reinforcing the rigidity of the bulging portion 12 is joined to the fore deck 11 in such a manner as to connect the bulwark panel 12 with each other.

Accordingly, various equipment for producing oil, gas or the like should be installed on the forefront deck 11, but the effective space of the forefoot deck 11 is reduced by the structure of the bulwark 10. Particularly, in the case of a marine environment in which green water greatly occurs, in the case of increasing the height of the bulwark panel 12, the size of the reinforcing member 14 becomes larger and the problem that the ineffective space of the forefart 11 is further increased have.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a bulwark structure capable of reducing an ineffective space of a forward upper deck.

The problems to be solved by the present invention are not limited to the above-mentioned problems, and other matters not mentioned can be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the following description.

According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a bulwark platform comprising: a bulwark platform extending a predetermined distance from an edge of an upper portion of a bow of the bow portion toward a sea direction; and a bulwark panel extending longitudinally along a leading edge of the bulwark platform The bulwark structure of the ship bow can be provided.

Further, a reinforcing bar extending along the outer plate circumferential direction of the bulging portion for reinforcing the rigidity of the bulwark platform may be coupled to the bulwark platform below the bulwark platform.

And further includes an inclined panel that connects the edge of the bulwark platform and the foreboard outer sheath to cover the reinforcing bar.

Further, a transverse steel material and a longitudinal stiffener for reinforcing the bulwark panel may be joined to the bulwark panel.

The embodiments of the present invention can improve the space efficiency by reducing the dead space of the fore end deck by providing the bulwark having the platform extended to the outside of the hull.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. The embodiments described below are provided by way of example so that those skilled in the art will be able to fully understand the spirit of the present invention. The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described below, but may be embodied in other forms. In order to clearly explain the present invention, parts not related to the description are omitted from the drawings, and the width, length, thickness, etc. of the components may be exaggerated for convenience. Like reference numerals designate like elements throughout the specification.

Also, terms including ordinals such as " first, " " second, " and the like can be used to describe various elements, but the elements are not limited by terms. Terms are used only for the purpose of distinguishing one component from another. For example, without departing from the scope of the present invention, the first component may be referred to as a second component, and similarly, the second component may also be referred to as a first component.

In the present application, the terms "comprise", "comprising", and the like are intended to specify the presence of stated features, integers, steps, components, or combinations thereof, and may include one or more other features, Steps, elements, or combinations thereof, as a matter of convenience, without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Also, when a part is referred to as being "connected" to another part, it includes not only a direct connection but also an indirect connection between the other parts.

3 is a perspective view showing a bulwark structure according to an embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 4 is a plan view showing a bulwark structure according to an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. FIG. 5 illustrates a state where the inclined panel is installed according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG.

2 to 5, a bulwark 20 is installed around the leading edge of the forward portion of the ship body according to the embodiment of the present invention to prevent penetration of green water. The bulwark 20 is installed along the periphery of the edge 31 of the front upper plate 30 disposed at the front of the ship to prevent seawater from penetrating into the upper upper deck 30 from the sea.

Various kinds of equipment for producing oil or gas can be arranged on the upper upper deck 30 of the ship and the bulwarks 20 prevent seawater penetration to the upper deck 30 to damage various equipment (31) of the front upper deck (30). The bulwark 20 is provided with a bulwark 20 extending from the edge 31 of the front upper deck 30 at a predetermined distance in the outward direction toward the sea so as to secure the effective space of the front upper deck 30, A platform 21 and a bulwark panel 23 extending longitudinally along the leading edge of the bulwark platform 21 to prevent penetration of green water.

The bulwark platform 21 may be provided in the form of a plate extending a predetermined distance from the edge of the upper upper deck 30 so as to be flush with the upper deck 30 and may be joined to the hull by welding. The bulwark platform 21 has a shape expanded outwardly from the outer plate of the hull, so that the bulwark platform 21 can be impacted by the waves hitting the water surface when the green water is generated. A reinforcing bar 40 in the form of a circular pipe may be coupled to the underside of the bulwark platform 21 to mitigate such an impact. The reinforcing bar 40 has a length extending along the circumferential direction of the fore and aft bulge and can be coupled to the underside of the bulwark platform 21 and the outer shell of the hull through welding or mounting brackets. An inclined panel 50 is disposed below the bulwark platform 21 so as to cover the reinforcing bar 40 so that a shock due to a wave (arrow direction) To prevent it from being directly applied. The inclined panel 50 is provided in a downward inclined shape connecting the edge of the bulwark platform 21 and the foreboard 32.

The bulwark panel 23 is provided with a plurality of unit panels of a predetermined size provided in a rectangular shape along the edge of the bulwark platform 21 and is provided with a transverse steel member 23 for reinforcing the structural rigidity of the bulwark panel 23 (60) and longitudinal stiffener (70) can be combined. The longitudinal stiffener 70 is provided in the form of a triangular plate connecting the bulwark panel 23 and the bulwark platform 21 so as to be spaced apart from each other along the circumferential direction of the bulwark platform 21, It is possible to extend along the bulwark panel 23 in the form of connecting a plurality of longitudinal stiffeners 70 at an intermediate portion of the bulwark panel 23. [

With this configuration, the structure of the bulwark 20 of the present embodiment does not occupy the space of the front upper deck 30 of the ship on which various equipments are to be installed, so that the space efficiency is greatly improved.

The foregoing has shown and described specific embodiments. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made in the present invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.
