Abstract
A method of folding a folding bicycle, comprising the steps of: (a) releasing a locked state of a locking portion that locks rotation of a front wheel frame portion and a rear wheel frame portion; (b) removing the front wheel frame portion and the rear wheel frame portion from the front wheel frame portion and the rear wheel frame portion, (C) a step of folding the front wheel frame part and the rear wheel frame part so as to overlap each other by overlapping each other, so that the hinge coupling part provided at the center of the bicycle The folding bicycle can be folded such that the front wheel frame and the rear wheel frame are vertically rotated to minimize the volume.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention [0001] The present invention relates to a folding bicycle folding method, and more particularly, to a folding method of folding a foldable bicycle by rotating the folding bicycle in a vertical direction around a rotating shaft provided at an intermediate portion of the frame.
Bicycles are one of the means of short distance travel and are widely used for sports or hobby.
Generally, a bicycle comprises a frame constituting a skeleton of a bicycle, a wheel mounted on the frame, a pedal, a handle, and a saddle.
Such a bicycle has a problem in that it is inconvenient to store and transport because the frame is integrally formed.
In order to solve such a problem, recently, a bicycle having a frame collapsible structure has been developed.
For example, the following Patent Documents 1 and 2 disclose a folding bicycle structure.
Patent Document 1 discloses a configuration of a foldable bicycle frame capable of being folded on a plane by providing first to fourth joint points on a head tube, a sheet main portion and a down tube.
Patent Document 2 discloses a foldable bicycle comprising a front frame, a main frame, and a rear frame, wherein a front pivot rod and a rear pivot rod provided on a main frame are rotatably connected to each other around a central connecting device to form a main frame, A folding configuration is disclosed.
On the other hand, the present applicant has filed and registered a folding bicycle in which a rear wheel frame and a main frame are formed with a hinge coupling part, and a rear wheel and a front wheel are folded by overlapping.
However, the folding bicycle according to the prior art including Patent Documents 1 and 2 has at least two joint points or pivot rods having a frame folding structure in a plane.
Therefore, the folding bicycle according to the related art has a complicated structure for folding the frame, so that the folding operation is complicated and difficult, and the manufacturing cost increases as the number of parts increases.
Accordingly, in Patent Document 3, the folding structure can be simplified by rotating the main frame and the rear wheel frame up and down with the hinge engaging portion provided at one joint point as the center, thereby overlapping the rear wheel and the front wheel.
However, in Patent Document 3, since the main frame is formed so that the front wheel, the pedal and the saddle are installed and the rear wheel fork is rotatably coupled to the rear of the main frame, there is a limitation in minimizing the volume in the folded state due to the length of the main frame there was.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a method of folding a foldable bicycle in which a hinge engaging portion is provided at a central portion of a frame to minimize a butt in a folded state.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a method of folding a foldable bicycle in which a central portion of a frame is vertically rotated so that front and rear wheels can be folded and folded.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a method of folding a foldable bicycle which can prevent the rigidity of the frame from being weakened due to the hinge engaging portion provided at the center of the frame.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method of folding a folding bicycle comprising the steps of: (a) releasing a locked state of a lock portion for locking a rotational movement of a front wheel frame portion and a rear wheel frame portion; (C) a step of folding the front wheel frame part and the rear wheel frame part so that they are staggered and overlapped with each other, characterized by comprising the step of rotating the front and rear wheel frame parts in a vertical direction about a hinge coupling part provided between the front wheel frame part and the rear wheel frame part .
In the step (b), the front wheel frame part and the rear wheel frame part are rotated around a rotation axis which is inclined by a predetermined angle from the center line of the front wheel frame part and the rear wheel frame part.
In the step (c), the front wheel and the rear wheel are fixed to each other by fixing means.
A method of folding a folding bicycle according to the present invention includes the steps of: (d) releasing a locked state of a handle frame coupled to the front wheel frame part; and (e) rotating the handle frame to one side of a front wheel fork And further comprising:
The step (d) is characterized in that the lock means provided between the front wheel frame portion and the handle frame is rotated to one side to separate the first and second protrusions formed on the front wheel frame portion and the handle frame to release the locked state .
As described above, according to the folding method of the folding bicycle according to the present invention, the folding bicycle can be folded such that the front and rear wheel frames are rotated in the vertical direction about the hinge engaging portion provided at the center of the bicycle, Effect is obtained.
According to the present invention, since the rotation axis of the hinge coupling part is inclined to one side, the front wheel and the rear wheel can be folded in a staggered manner, and the foldable bicycle can be easily moved in a folded state in a staircase or a narrow space Loses.
Further, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide the engaging projections and the engaging grooves in the front wheel and the rear wheel frame, respectively, so as to prevent the rigidity of the central portion of the main frame from being weakened.
According to the present invention, the front wheel frame and the rear wheel frame are folded in a superposing manner by a single operation of rotating the lock lever, and when the storage wheel is stored, the handle frame is folded toward the front wheel fork to minimize the volume of the folding bicycle, The effect can be obtained.
