Description

{DRILLSHIP HAVING A HOUSE UNDER A CATWALK}

The present invention relates to a drill ship, and more particularly, to a drill ship having a house at a lower portion of a catwalk provided with a riser feeding device.

With the rapid development of international industrialization and industry, the use of earth resources such as oil is gradually increasing, and thus the stable production and supply of crude oil is becoming an increasingly important issue globally.

For this reason, recently marginal field or deep-sea oil development has been economically feasible, which has been neglected due to economic difficulties so far. Therefore, with the development of submarine mining technology, drilling facilities suitable for the development of such oilfields A drilling rig equipped with a hull has been developed.

Conventional submarine drilling has been mainly used for a rig ship or a fixed platform for underwater drilling which can be sailed only by other tugboats and which is used for drilling underwater at anchor point on the sea using a mooring device.

In recent years, however, drill ships and FPSO (Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading), which are manufactured in the same form as ordinary ships, have been developed to mount advanced drilling equipment and to navigate with their own power. Has been used for subsea drilling and production.

In order to develop small-scale oilfields, drilling rigs are designed to be able to navigate powerlessly without a tugboat, depending on the working conditions that need to be moved frequently.

Meanwhile, in a conventional drill ship, a catwalk provided with a riser feeding device is supported by a riser rack by a truss structure. Such a truss structure is provided long in the longitudinal direction of the riser rack, and the truss structure is provided with a ladder so that an operator can ascend from the riser rack to the catwalk.

In recent years, drilling work has been done up to the deep sea, and drilling related equipment is loaded more than before, and the size of the drilling equipment is increased. Therefore, a new improvement measure is required to secure space without increasing the size of the hull.

And a lifting unit provided to the catwalk support unit so as to be able to move up and down.

And a well test platform provided on the main deck and on which the well test equipment is placed, wherein the house can be provided as a mounting place for the well test equipment.

Embodiments of the present invention can maximize the utilization of the restricted space by using a space left in an empty space as a room, a warehouse, a rest room or the like by providing a house in a lower portion of a catwalk which is conventionally a closed space.

FIG. 1 is a side view schematically showing a stern area of a drill ship with a house under a catwalk according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG.
Figure 2 is a schematic rear view of the "A" region of Figure 1;
3 is a view schematically showing a state in which a house and a lift portion are provided on a catwalk support portion.

In order to fully understand the present invention, operational advantages of the present invention, and objects achieved by the practice of the present invention, reference should be made to the accompanying drawings and the accompanying drawings which illustrate preferred embodiments of the present invention.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the preferred embodiments of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings. Like reference symbols in the drawings denote like elements.

FIG. 1 is a side view schematically showing a stern area of a drill ship having a house under the catwalk according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a schematic rear view of the area "A" Is a view schematically showing a state in which a house and a lift portion are provided on a catwalk support portion.

As shown in these drawings, a drill ship 1 having a house under the catwalk according to the present embodiment includes a riser rack 10 provided on a main deck MD and on which a riser R is mounted, A catwalk support portion 20 for supporting the catwalk CA and a house 30 provided on the catwalk support portion 20 and a lift portion 40 .

The riser rack 10 is spaced apart from the main deck MD by a predetermined distance and a plurality of risers R are provided on the upper surface of the riser rack 10, as shown in FIG. The riser R provided in the riser rack 10 is supplied to the riser feeding device RF provided in the catwalk CA by the deck crane DC and the riser feeding device RF feeds the riser R to the drill floor Supply. The riser R supplied to the drill floor is lowered to the seabed via the door M.

1 to 3, the catwalk supporting portion 20 is provided in the riser rack 10 to support the catwalk CA. In this embodiment, the catwalk supporting portion 20 includes a plurality of horizontal frames 21 And a plurality of vertical frames may be combined with each other.

In this embodiment, the catwalk support portion 20 may be provided at the center of the riser rack 10, as shown in Fig. In addition, the catwalk support portion 20 may be provided over most of the longitudinal length of the riser rack 10, as shown in Fig.

In this embodiment, the catwalk supporting portion 20 may be provided in three layers in the height direction of the hull, as shown in Fig.

As shown in FIG. 3, the house 30 may be provided in a plurality of the catwalk support portions 20, and in this embodiment, the house 30 may be used for any one of a room, a warehouse, and a rest room .

In addition, in this embodiment, the house 30 can be replaced with a cabin of an inhabited section disposed in the stern section. That is, the present embodiment can provide the room 30 as a room, and it is possible to reduce the number of the rooms provided in the living quarters as compared with the rooms provided in the house 30, thereby securing additional space in the living quarters.

Therefore, it is possible to expand a space where many people such as a dining room and a cooking room provided in a residence can be expanded, and can efficiently arrange the inside of a residence by utilizing it as various other spaces instead of a room.

In the present embodiment, the house 30 may be provided in a space portion directly above the space portion in contact with the riser rack 10, as shown in FIG. 3, among the multiple spaces provided in the catwalk support portion 20 .

This is because provision of the house 30 in the space portion in contact with the riser rack 10 can prevent the movement path of the riser rack 10 and obstruct the transportation of the drilling rig.

The reason why the house 30 is not provided in the space portion immediately below the catwalk CA is that the vertical center of gravity of the hull is taken into consideration. That is, the higher the center of gravity of the hull in the vertical direction, the worse the stability.

In this embodiment, the house 30 may be provided by joining a plate material to a bottom portion, a side wall portion, and a ceiling portion of a space portion formed by a plurality of horizontal frames 21 and a plurality of vertical frames 23. The plate material may be a wooden plate or an iron plate, and may be welded or bolted to the transverse frame 21 and the transverse frame 23.

The present embodiment is advantageous in that the house 30 can be provided by a simple method by joining a plate material to the pre-installed catwalk support portion 20. [
