Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE
Currently, Hangul keyboard has more than one English / Korean and Hanja keys and has a different backslash part than English alphabet. The problem of backslash and the Korean character must be resolved by the gap between the international character standard (Unicode).
When inputting Hangul, it is often necessary to input alphabetical letters, old letters, and symbols. In this case, the keyboard is switched as the Han / Yi key and the alphabet is input or the keyboard is switched in the software as in the case of 'Han Hangul' This is because it is necessary to return to the key board mode after the desired input, so that a human error is often caused to forget key board return. In the conventional technology of the Korean keyboard, the right ALT and the right CTRL are redundant. Therefore, these keys can be used for functions for inputting a plurality of characters and symbols. In addition, the function can be sufficiently specified even in a standard English keyboard in which no two keys are added. Conventionally, however, the conventional Korean keyboard technology has a lot of wasted space, and there are no characters at the third level and the fourth level, so that inputting of other characters or symbols is inconvenient.
Conventional keyboards are required to solve this problem because they are located at the backslash place and are not compatible with the input and implementation of the international character standard (Unicode) backslash and the Korean character.
Also, I want to be able to input other languages (including uppercase and lowercase letters) such as old letters, symbols, and English in Hangul mode without switching to Korean mode. To do this, one extra key (modifier key) can be used as the third and fourth level keys.
However, Hangul Keyboard has added Korean / English and Chinese character keys in comparison with English standard keyboard. In accordance with the international standard, it is possible to input Korean / English characters, 3rd, and 4th level characters Can be solved.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to overcome the above problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide an apparatus and a method for inputting a backslash and an original character, So that it can input characters.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention for achieving the above first object (backslash and input of a Korean character), a backslash is displayed and input in the original backslash position in either the English mode or the Hangul mode of the Korean keyboard, The symbol can be displayed and input in the superscript position of the Hangul mode.
As another embodiment for achieving the above first object, in the English mode, a backslash is displayed and input in the backslash position, and in the Hangul mode, the Korean character mode is displayed and input in the Korean mode display portion of the backslash key. Respectively.
As another embodiment for achieving the above first objective, a backslash is displayed and input in the original backslash position in the English mode or the Hangul mode of the Korean keyboard, and the Korean character can utilize a single digit of the third level have.
According to an exemplary embodiment for achieving the above second objective (third level, fourth level character entry), the right ALT key, which is one of the special keys, is used for the third level and fourth level characters, Quot; ALT + character key "as the third level character, and" right ALT + shift + character key "as the fourth level character so as not to violate the physical standard of the standard keyboard, It is possible to input various characters such as alphabetic characters without any inconvenience when switching the keyboard mode and returning them, and to input old characters of unfinished characters.
Each character group can be any character. For example, the third level defines old characters, symbols and symbols, and the fourth level can specify English characters. The right ALT surface is displayed in blue text, and each character key can also display the third level text in blue.
As another embodiment for achieving the above second objective, when there are no two additional keys compared to the English standard, one key, for example, the right CTRL is one / , The right ALT for the third level character, and its shift target for the fourth level character. Even if the four functions are configured differently, for example, the right CTRL may be used for the Chinese character, the right ALT for the Korean / English, the right ALT + Shift for the Chinese character, and the right CTRL + shift for the fourth level character.
According to the present invention, it is possible to input both the backslash and the original symbol, which is a solid problem, while maintaining the physical form standard of the conventional keyboard, and it is possible to easily input letters such as old letters, symbols, have.
By using the upper character (2nd level character), the 3rd level character, and the 4th level character, it is possible to input various characters without changing the mode of the keyboard or switching the input device. There is an effect of preventing an error that occurs. Especially, 'Fill' character and 'Nonjoiner' are useful for academic and globalization because they can input old Hangul effectively.

FIG. 3 is a diagram showing a keyboard for inputting characters of a third level and a fourth level using the right ALT key according to another embodiment of the present invention.
FIG. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a method for inputting Korean characters, Hanja characters, third level characters, and fourth level characters when there are only two of the Korean / English keys, the Hanja keys, the right ALT, and the right CTRLs according to another embodiment of the present invention. Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
1 is a conventional Korean keyboard for a window system. The Hangul keyboard has Korean / English and Hanja keys added to the American English Standard (ANSI). For keyboards for other operating systems, the character area is the same, only the surrounding special keys are slightly different.
2 illustrates a keyboard according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. Existing Hangul keyboard is displayed in English mode or Hangul mode or always expressed in Korean symbol (₩), but it is implemented internally, because it is character code (Unicode) of backslash internally. In the present invention, a reverse slash is newly displayed in the original place (11) in the English mode or the Hangul mode, so that a backslash can be always displayed and input, and the Korean character is displayed in an extra upper character position (12) to display, input, and implement them.
As another embodiment of the present invention, in the English mode, a backslash is displayed, input and implemented as shown in (11). In the Hangul mode, a circle symbol is displayed at the

While the present invention has been particularly shown and described with reference to exemplary embodiments thereof, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed exemplary embodiments, but, on the contrary, It will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. For example, it is easy to modify the present invention, such as using the right CTRL instead of the right ALT, using CAPSLOCK, or inputting a higher level character set including the same, or the like, I can not.
