Abstract
Description
Today, various mobile devices such as smart phones and tablet PCs have excellent mobility, processing capability, and control characteristics, so that they can download and / or upload various information anytime and anywhere The utilization rate and frequency of use of modern people are rapidly expanding.
Such a mobile device is inherently easy to carry, which is one of its main characteristics, and it is in a trend of thinning and thinning (thinning and shrinking) in spite of rapid increase in functionality according to the development of electronic technology.
However, it is believed that the thinning of the outer case according to the prior art as a part to meet the trend of short and light weight of the mobile device described above is not limited to a thickness lower than the sacrifice in consideration of strength or impact resistance come.
In addition, the thickness of the resin material housing case having a size of a mobile phone such as a pitcher phone or a smart phone, which is particularly small in general, is generally at least 0.8 mm or more, And a thickness of about 2 mm is generally required for a resin case having a size of about 20 inches such as a notebook. Examples of the material for the case for a mobile device include a polycarbonate (PC), a thermoplastic resin, (PA), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), alloys of PA and ABS, or glass fiber chops as a filler are homogeneously and simply mixed with the aforementioned resin raw materials. .
The applicant of the present invention has implemented a case for mobile phone having a thickness of about 0.6 mm by a resin transfer molding method (RTM: Resin Transfer Molding method) using a glass fiber fabric as a conventional method for overcoming the limitations of the above- According to one prior art, it is difficult to realize an outer case for a mobile device having a thickness less than that, and further, various natural or artificial decorative patterns other than the glass fiber fabric pattern can not be realized.
According to the prior art by the above-mentioned resin transfer molding method in which the glass fiber raw material piece by the applicant is integrated with the resin layer, the tensile strength of the external case for a mobile device is made of only thermoplastic water, or the glass fiber cloth as a filler is homogeneously Although the resin transfer molding method described above achieves a tensile strength improvement of about 4 times as much as that in the case of incorporating the resin into the glass fiber raw material, The method and apparatus are complicated and expensive, and the manufacturing efficiency is not sufficiently satisfactory.
Therefore, a first object of the present invention is to provide an efficient and economical forming method of a thinned mobile device case having a sufficiently satisfactory impact resistance, strength and light weight.
