Description

Wire reel for welding

The present invention relates to a wire reel for storing a wire used for welding, in particular, by excessively loosening the wire by pressing both sides of the drum so that the drum rotates at the same feed rate of the wire when unwinding the wire for welding It relates to a welding wire reel to prevent entanglement.

Submerged arc welding is one of the welding methods commonly used in shipyards where large steel sheets are frequently welded.

The submerged arc welding refers to a method of welding two or more to-be-joined objects by heat obtained by generating an arc between a wire and a base material under a granular flux, and granulating on the base material. The flux of is piled up in advance and welding is carried out by continuously supplying a wire through which current flows.

In this welding method, a wire reel is used to smoothly supply a wire at a welding progress speed, and the wire reel is used for welding using a wire in addition to the submerged arc welding.

On the other hand, the wire reel is composed of a drum with a wire wound around the central portion and a flange for preventing the detachment of the wound wire at both ends, and a bracket for rotatably supporting the drum by being coupled through the drum and the shaft.

In this case, the drum is coupled to the bracket so as to be freely rotated, and rotates when the wire is unwound by the driving of the wire feeding device. Preferably, the feeding speed of the wire and the rotating speed of the drum must be balanced.

However, there is a frequent occurrence of excessive rotation of the drum installed in the bracket to enable free rotation, in which case the wire feeding speed and the rotation speed of the drum are unbalanced, and the wire is excessively loosened and the wound wire moves to the lower part of the drum. The sagging phenomenon is occurring (see FIG. 1), and when this phenomenon becomes severe, there is a problem in that smooth feeding of the wire is impossible due to entanglement of the wire.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to prevent excessive loosening of the wire by restricting the free rotation of the drum by properly pressing the side of the drum wound the wire, and thereby through the wire The present invention provides a wire reel for welding that can be stably supplied.

Welding wire reel of the present invention to achieve the object as described above and to perform a problem for removing the conventional defects, the drum is wound around the wire is provided with a flange, the drum is coupled via the drum and the shaft through the drum A welding wire reel composed of a bracket for rotatably supporting a spring, the welding wire reel comprising: a spring installed on the shaft so as to be located at one side of the drum to press one side of the drum; And a press nut installed on the shaft to be located at the other side of the drum and screwed to the shaft to press the other side of the drum, thereby preventing excessive rotation of the drum when the wire is unwound.

Meanwhile, a wear prevention plate may be further provided between the spring and the drum and the press nut and the drum to reduce wear caused by friction generated at the contact portion between the spring and the drum and the press nut and the drum.

On the other hand, the side of the drum corresponding to the pressing nut is formed by an inclined surface having a structure inclined toward the center portion is formed with a receiving portion having a structure recessed inwardly of the drum so that the pressing nut does not protrude out of the drum. Do.

According to the present invention having the above characteristics, by using the spring and the pressure nut to properly press both sides of the drum can prevent excessive rotation of the drum when unwinding the wire, through which the sag or tangling of the wire It is effective in preventing and enabling smooth supply of wires.

Figure 3 is a front view showing a structure in which the spring and the press nut of the present invention is installed.

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description of the embodiments of the present invention, a detailed description of known functions and configurations incorporated herein will be omitted when it may make the subject matter of the present invention rather unclear.

2 is a front view showing the structure of a wire reel according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, Figure 3 is a front view showing a structure in which the spring and the pressure nut of the present invention is installed.

The welding wire reel according to the present invention appropriately suppresses free rotation of the drum 110 on which the wire W is wound, thereby suppressing excessive rotation of the drum 110 when the drum 110 is rotated to unwind the wire. It is possible to smoothly feed the wire by zooming, and includes a drum 110, a bracket 120, a spring 130, and a press nut 140.

The drum 110 is made of a cylindrical structure so that the wire can be wound, the both ends are formed with flanges (111, 112) for preventing the separation of the wire. The structure of the drum 110 is the same as a conventional drum.

However, the drum 110 according to the present invention is formed by the inclined surface (110a) inclined toward the center portion on the side corresponding to the pressing nut 140, the receiving portion 113 having a structure recessed inward of the drum (110). Is formed and configured to receive the press nut 140. According to the accommodating part 113, since the pressing nut 140 can be minimized from protruding to the outside of the drum 110, the automatic welding device moves and the welding of the pressing nut 140 and the surrounding structure in the process of welding. It is possible to prevent a collision or interference occurring between them.

The bracket 120 rotatably supports the drum 110, a support 121 coupled to an automatic welding device (not shown), and a shaft extending from the support 121 and coupled to the drum 110 ( 122). In this case, the shaft 122 passes through the drum 110 to support the drum 110 to allow free rotation of the drum 110.

The spring 130 is to support one side of the drum 110 so that the appropriate pressure is applied to the drum 110, is installed on the shaft 122 to be located on one side of the drum 110, the spring ( 130 is positioned between the support 121 and the drum 110 to elastically support the drum (110).

The pressure nut 140 is to allow the user to adjust the pressure applied to the drum 110, is installed on the shaft 122 to be located on the other side of the drum 110, more specifically, screwed to the shaft 122 Combination is configured to adjust the pressure applied to the drum 110 in accordance with the degree of fastening with the shaft (122).

On the other hand, the drum 110, which is pressurized at both sides by the spring 130 and the pressure nut 140, rotates when the wire is unwound, so that the spring 130 and the drum 110 and the pressure nut 140 and the spring are rotated. Friction wear may occur on the contact portion of the 130.

The wear prevention plate 150 may be further installed between the spring 130 and the drum 110 and the pressure nut 140 and the drum 110 to prevent wear due to such friction.

At this time, the wear protection plate 150 is a plate made of a brass material, to prevent direct friction between the spring 130 and the drum 110 and the pressurizing nut 140 and the drum 110, using a smooth surface of the brass itself Therefore, the frictional resistance generated by the contact portion is reduced by reducing the frictional resistance.

The effect of the welding wire reel having the above configuration will be described.

The user adjusts the pressure applied to the drum 110 by tightening the pressure nut 140 in consideration of conditions such as the weight of the drum 110 and the wire W, the required wire feeding speed, and the like.

That is, when the pressure nut 140 is rotated and tightened, the pressure nut 140 screwed to the shaft 122 moves in a direction close to the drum 110, and at this time, the drum is moved by the movement of the pressure nut 140. The 110 is moved and the pressure applied to the drum 110 is adjusted while the spring 130 is compressed by the movement of the drum 110.

In this way, the appropriate pressure is applied to both sides of the drum 110 by the spring 130 and the pressure nut 140 to suppress the excessive rotation of the drum 110 during the rotation of the drum 110 for unwinding the wire to wire This can prevent sagging or tangles.

It will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims and their equivalents. Of course, such modifications are within the scope of the claims.
