Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for improving the communication quality of a network, and more particularly, the amount of information transmission that all user terminals can receive through a distributed method based on game theory in a multi-user downlink relay (or femtocell) network. In addition, the present invention relates to a communication quality improvement method that can maximize the satisfaction with QoS.
Cooperative relay networks provide a relatively good communication quality of service. To ensure. However, this is because there is a high amount of signal overhead in coordinating and transmitting information between a source or a source station ( Source: S ), each relay station ( RS ), and a user equipment ( UE ). In practice, it is difficult to implement. However, if the network structure is set up using a competitive theory rather than cooperative competition, it is much simpler to operate because it only cares about the information of the base station cell to which it belongs. It is important to solve the relay network problem using game theory because it brings about optimized results and approximate results.
논문 'A Game-Theoretic Approach for Distributed Power Control in Interference Relay Channels' 에서는 두 셀이 존재하고 각 셀마다 가 한 개씩 존재하며 셀 엣지에 있는 상황을 고려하고 있으며, 인접 셀에 미치는 간섭량과 최종적으로 가 받는 정보 전송량을 게임이론을 통해 풀고 있다. Looking at the results so far, Wow Many researches have been conducted to play games with their own transmission power limitations. In the paper 'A Game-Theoretic Approach for Distributed Power Control in Interference Relay Channels', two cells exist and each cell Are considered one by one and are at the cell edge. Is solving the amount of information received by the game theory. But in one cell Power and The assumption is made that the sum of powers is constant, and the scenario itself is very poor. In addition, the gain of information transmission through power control is very small, and the adjustment range of the information transmission amount is also very narrow. There is a limit to satisfying. Also, compared to the complexity of power-control games, the benefits are very small.
In the paper 'Distributed Power Allocation in Multi-User Multi-Channel Cellular Relay Networks', Wow When is present, each They were in charge of High To be assured, you will join the game with your own power. As we pointed out above, we play games with power, so the gains will be less than the complexity. In addition, the paper 'Distributed Power Allocation in Multi-User Multi-Channel Cellular Relay Networks' In the case of, The number of If you say dog Of time slots For time slots Are at rest. That is, the existing The method is one frame as shown in FIG. During the first time slot, end doggy Send information in a timely manner to the sequence, and at the end of that frame All in the first time slot Simultaneous transmission from is activated. therefore On the first subcarrier UE's capacity is defined as follows.
......(1)
......(One)
Wow Respectively Using the first subcarrier Wow Is the received power of, Wow Respectively Using the first subcarrier Wow Is a statistically independent additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) power.
This conventional OFD method has various problems. The first problem is that there is inefficiency in terms of time utilization. all end Not active during all four time slots, This is because they are activated synchronously only in the last time slot.
The second problem is the inefficiency of power regulation games. In the amount of information transmitted, the power is in the logarithmic function. Power control games benefit a lot at low SINRs, but at high SINRs, that is, there is a limit to increasing the amount of information transfer using power, as shown in Figure 2, and the gains are too small for their complexity.
The third problem is asking It is insufficient to cope with the change. Even in the case of the most commonly used Proportional Fairness ( PF ), What are they actually There is no operation to request and reflect it to scheduling.
The present inventors have come to light the following points from the problems of the existing ODF technique.
First, if frequency and time resources are used, the amount of information transmission will increase by an integer multiple, and it will be a much simpler operation than the complicated and detailed calculation that divides power into subcarriers. In addition, the use of frequency and time resources allows the dynamic range of information to be scaled far and wide, allowing for dynamic changing needs. Can satisfy.
Secondly, even the remaining time slots that are not being utilized and wasted, If they use it through 'wise strategy' It will have a larger amount of information transfer than the technique. Then the number of time slots per frame in As the normalization factor shrinks in Could be increased.
Finally, required To solve the lack of coping with the change of Required of Scheduling it with satisfaction will make resource utilization much more efficient.
Based on these considerations, the present invention In order to improve the inefficiency of the time utilization aspect and power control game of the multi-user downlink relay network, a completely distributed game theory utilizing frequency resources and time resources is adopted to minimize the amount of interference received by the user terminal. One object of the present invention is to provide a communication quality improvement method that can maximize the amount of information transmission.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a communication quality improvement method that can derive greater gain than when utilizing power resources by utilizing time resources in terms of complexity and information transmission amount.
In addition, the present invention is to provide a communication quality improvement method that can use the frequency resources to dynamically respond when the QoS required by each user changes so that all user terminals are satisfied with the communication quality. The purpose.
According to an aspect of the present invention for achieving the above object, the wireless communication service area is divided into a plurality of cells, one source station (S) and a plurality of relay stations (RS) and randomly distributed in each cell There are a plurality of user terminals (UE), and the source station (S) and the relay station (RS) both have N subcarriers (where N is a natural number of two or more), and the source station (S) Time division multiple access of the relay stations (RS) ], And each relay station (RS) uses orthogonal frequency multiplexing access to user terminals (UEs) assigned to itself using N subcarriers. In a multi-user downlink relay network providing a wireless communication service in the following manner, (1) while the source station S serves the relay stations RS, all the user terminals UE are each time slots. Scanning the amount of interference experienced by the user and selecting a time slot in which the interference will be least affected; (2) the user terminal (UE) requesting a service from a relay station (RS) in charge of itself in the selected time slot; (3) each of the plurality of relay stations (RSs) providing a service in a time slot requested by the user terminal (UE) for each user terminal (UE) in charge; And (4) the steps until the Nash Equilibrium state is reached, in which the plurality of user terminals (UEs) all select different time slots and thus no longer produce better results in the amount of interference. Provided are a method for improving satisfaction of rapidly changing user demanded communication quality in a multi-user downlink relay network, characterized by repeatedly performing steps (1) to (3).
The method for improving the satisfaction with the user-required communication quality is that the user terminals (UEs) requesting the service have minimal interference with the time slots selected by the user terminal (UE) because the other user terminal (UE) selects the same time slot as the service request. If it is determined that the time slot is not causing the delay, the method may further include re-selecting the time slot causing the minimum interference and requesting service from the relay station in charge of itself.
In addition, the method for improving the satisfaction with the user request communication quality, the information transmission amount (RS-> UE transmission rate) from the relay station (RS) to the user terminal (UE) is the relay station (RS) from the source station (S) If not greater than the amount of information transmission to S (RS-> RS transmission rate), the user terminal (UE) may further comprise the step of requesting the service to the relay station (RS) in charge of the additional time slot further selected by itself. have.
The method for improving the satisfaction with the user request communication quality may further include allocating a frequency to each of user equipments (UEs) that the plurality of relay stations (RSs) service. In this case, in the relay station RS allocating the frequency to two or more user terminals UE in charge thereof, one method is to refer to the history of the QoS request of each UE. A large frequency is allocated to a user terminal (UE) having a large variation of, and a small frequency is allocated to a user terminal (UE) having a small variation of QoS. In the relay station RS assigning the frequency to two or more user terminals (UEs) in charge thereof, another method is to refer to the history of the QoS request of each user terminal (UE) with the highest QoS. User terminal showing fluctuations in ) Subcarrier Start by allocating all the subcarriers, and subcarriers are arranged in the same ratio sequence in the order of the large fluctuations based on the QoS fluctuation information of the UEs each time the UE in charge is added. To assign. In addition, it is preferable that the equal ratio applied when allocating subcarriers to the equal sequence is 1/2.
In the above method for improving the satisfaction of user demanded communication quality, when a specific user terminal (UE) raises a QoS request, the relay station (RS) in charge of service for the specific user terminal (UE) is in charge of the service. The method may further include performing frequency blanking according to frequency yield of the user terminal UE in a satisfactory state among the user terminals UE.
The frequency blanking is one method, wherein (a) a user terminal (UE) in a satisfied state for the service of the relay station (RS) requests a relay station (RS) in charge of frequency blanking. step; (b) The relay station RS, which has been requested for frequency blanking, forwards the request to the source station S in charge thereof, and the source station S nulling the corresponding subcarrier, and the frequency thereof. The relay station RS, which is requested to be blanked, may also be achieved through a process of blanking the corresponding subcarrier. In the step (a), the user terminal UE in the satisfaction state preferably requests the frequency blanking within the limit in which the user terminal UE can maintain the satisfaction state.
The frequency blanking may alternatively include: (i) information about a subcarrier and a corresponding time slot that a user terminal UE, which is dissatisfied with the service of the relay station RS, interferes most with itself; Uploading to a relay station in charge of itself; (ii) The relay station RS uploads the uploaded information to the source station S in charge thereof, and the source station S nulls the subcarrier based on the uploaded information. In addition, the relay station RS, which has been requested for the frequency blanking, may also be achieved through a process of blanking the corresponding subcarrier.
According to the present invention, it is possible to maximize the amount of information transmission by minimizing the amount of interference received by the user terminal (UE) by utilizing time resources and frequency resources based on game theory that is completely distributed in a relay network. In terms of complexity and increased information transmission, the use of time resources can lead to greater benefits than power resources.
Also, By selecting a number of time slots according to the situation, an optimal amount of information transmission can be obtained, and thus They reach a satisfaction state.
Furthermore, all Unspecified after they reach a satisfaction state To ask yourself In case of raising, the subcarrier allocation and frequency blanking techniques that can flexibly cope with this are satisfied with the concept of fairness which is more practical than the conventional concept of fairness.

The Suppose you do not send and receive simultaneously at the same time, Use the method. And to simplify the efficiency of frequency and time resources and solve problems. Assume there is no link.
(2) Definition of terms
The terms Interference, Nash Equilibrium, Distributed Manner, and Frequency Nulling used in the description of the present invention have the following meanings.
(i) 간섭(Interference): 같은 주파수 대역을 사용하는 다른 링크에 의하여 받게 되는 간섭량.(i) Interference: The amount of interference received by other links using the same frequency band.
(ii) 나쉬 평형(Nash Equilibrium): 사용자 단말기가 다른 선택을 하여도 더 이상 지금보다 나은 결과를 가져오지 않는 상태(ii) Nash Equilibrium: A state in which a user's terminal no longer produces better results than now
(iii) 분산적 방식(Distributed Manner): 중앙집중식 방식(Centralized Manner)과 반대되는 기법으로 중앙에서 연산을 일괄적으로 하는 것이 아니라, 연산을 분산적으로 처리하는 것을 의미한다.(iii) Distributed Manner: This is the opposite of Centralized Manner, which means that the operation is distributed centrally rather than centrally.

1. Games Strategy (maximizing cell-wide information transfer)
In order to improve the inefficiency of competitive power allocation games, the present invention changes the game resources themselves from power to time and subcarrier resources. In addition, considering the inefficiency of the time utilization aspect of the existing ODF, the idea that each RS selects the time to service its own UE, not a technique in which all RSs are synchronized at the same time in the last time slot. Is based on.
Before describing the specific idea of the present invention, the concept of a resource block (RB) is introduced. The With the first subcarrier RB for the first time slot. In the current system model, as shown in FIG. RB matrix is formed, the basic theme of the game RS is responsible for When servicing the first UE, it is not activated concurrently in the last time slot, The time slot that can utilize the first subcarrier is determined, and the RB corresponding to the time slot is selected.

The game described below is a subcarrier There are as many completely independent games as there are dogs. Let's look at a game in the first subcarrier.

(The strategy of game)I. The strategy of game

Corresponding to the column Everyone Subcarrier use with Means to service. In other words Is being served by Can not select the first time slot There are two choices available. To make the smartest choice It scans for interference during the time slots. In the initial state Because only a link exists end While servicing Everything except They will be interfered with.
In the first game, By Represents the amount of interference experienced by the vector as follows.
, ......(6) , ...... (6)
, ......(7)
, ...... (7)
As suggested in the system model above, in Using the first subcarrier While servicing th The interfering channel gain . Power is evenly Is divided into equal parts and loaded on each subcarrier from Received power If expressed as The in Using the first subcarrier While servicing Represents the amount of interference that The Where is an element Represents the interference vector. Likewise, from Receive power When displayed as The in Using the first subcarrier While servicing Represents the amount of interference that The Represents the interference vector.

Likewise In the case of, There are two components, The first time slot has its own , In other words end Bar is the time to service end Since serving N is nonsense, the interference is zero. Like the expression above end During the service doggy Interference Amount Vectors, Each Pair Indicate The Interference It Owns I got a Indicating the amount of interference between the fields Is obtained.

Selection process
The In the first game By Represents the amount of interference experienced Have their own initial hand. Because it's completely decentralized Own Only get to know.
The important thing here is to play the game Pair is Know for yourself, but Is all Pairs You don't know yourself until you make a choice. The reason is that Is just a table showing the amount of interference, Decides which time slot to select This is because the corresponding values can be extracted from. That is, each The amount of interference affecting each other depends on which time slot they choose. A new vector representing the amount of interference between the liver Is needed.
To find out, first of all, Let's look at the selection process.
In the first iteration Since there is no information on the amount of interference between Does not have any) Play games with bays. all Because the pair is selfish and distributed, it is the least amount of interference Select the person in charge of to Update to update the time slot you want to receive. This is the basic strategy for the game.
= {번째 게임에서, 쌍이 선택한 타임 슬롯} = { In the first game, Pair-selected time slots}
= ......(9) = (9)
(element '0'을 제외한 값)
(excluding element '0' value)
Because of this The selection matrix is created.
= { 쌍의 선택 행렬} = { Pair Selection matrix}
= {번째 게임에서, 번째 이터레이션에서, 쌍이 선택한 타임 슬롯}= { In the first game, In the first iteration, Pair-selected time slots}

Only the first is 1 and all others are 0. In other words Pair selected Only in the first time slot Is working This means that the service will be used, and the remaining time slots will not be used.
This is likewise added to the line Selection matrix Can make
......(11)
...... (11)
Have an initial hand called everyone who receives the least interference Select that he is in charge of that time slot Will serve you. Because they all behave in the same strategy, you may select certain time slots at the same time. E.g, in When serving Other than To the guys When the amount of interference Everyone , In other words Will select the first time slot. When this happens, everyone can now stop at the current state if the current selection is correct (if nothing else gets better). But everyone Since we selected the first time slot, If the first time slot is rather crowded together Due to the pair, the amount of interference increases. 11 shows the phenomenon. Pair and The pair simultaneously holds the fourth time slot, = Became. Judged to have the least amount of interference, and I served you, but silver Activated at the same time as Because of, The Activated simultaneously with As a result, a greater amount of interference is received.
therefore In the first game, In the first iteration, Amount of interference between Is defined as
In the first game, In the first iteration, Amount of interference between
= ......(12)
= (12)
Also, Pair In the first game, In the first iteration, Interference by Pair Is defined as
= { of Second row} ...... (13)

The algorithm for selecting a selection matrix is as follows.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------
● 알고리즘 I: 완벽히 분산적인 선택 (서브캐리어 별로 각각 게임)Algorithm I: fully distributed Optional (each game by subcarrier)

All through algorithm I Subcarrier Calculates the amount of interference experienced and then repeatedly selects the time slot that is least interfered with Optimized for them To select Was minimized.
However, if the game is separated by subcarriers like this As many games as the number of subcarriers must be raised for every subcarrier Is independently operated and has high complexity.
따라서 아래와 같은 간략하고 새로운 방법을 제시한다.all The amount of interference he is experiencing To all subcarriers each If you update to (the number of subcarriers game Complexity Number of pairs This increases complexity. ● 알고리즘 II: 완벽히 분산적인 RB 선택 (서브캐리어 한 개인 것처럼 압축)Algorithm II: Fully distributed RB selection (compresses as if it were a subcarrier)

Algorithm II is a subcarrier, unlike Algorithm I Not every game runs independently, The amount of interference experienced by each pair of time slots is viewed as one, without subcarrier distinction. Game while referring to this flowchart A method of maximizing the total cell information transmission based on the strategy of the present invention will be described in detail. Each
After the frequency assignment is completed, S300 now starts the service (step S12). All
Unfortunately, when the plurality of
When it is determined in step S22 that the selected time slot causes the minimum interference, all the

In addition, when the distribution is performed in the ignition form as shown in Equation (29), as shown in FIG. In this case, the
이처럼 만족상태에 있는 UE의 양보에 의해 간섭량이 줄어들게 되어 결국 불만족 상태에 있는 UE도 만족 상태로 가게 된다(도 18 참조).As a result, the amount of interference is reduced by the concession of the UE in the satisfied state, so that the UE in the unsatisfactory state also becomes satisfied (see FIG. 18).
Algorithm V above has the advantage of being completely decentralized, but in a 'dissatisfied state' Has the disadvantage of increasing the probability of information transmission. In other words, it is quite probabilistic that benefits are directly provided to UEs in dissatisfaction. because end Subcarrier blanked for In dissatisfaction It could be a subcarrier that didn't interfere with it. It may be a subcarrier that has not been assigned to. 17 illustrates this situation.
Therefore, they are in a state of dissatisfaction There is a need for a method that can reliably increase the amount of information transmission. This solution is presented as algorithm VI below.

21 is a flowchart illustrating a method of coping with a change in QoS request of a UE by performing frequency blanking according to Algorithm VI. Like Algorithm V above, the case where all UEs are satisfied with the service of the RS and at least one UE becomes unsatisfactory due to a high QoS request is considered.
Frequency Blanking Technique In the case of, From the standpoint of, we decide whether or not to use that subcarrier for that time slot. This is a very simple operation. Moreover, the necessary information Is not a direct calculation, just The It's a simpler operation because it only serves to convey information. Also, Even in 'unsatisfied' field Whitening contributes more decisively to meeting equity. For Algorithm VIs, we put it in the 'Unsatisfied' state. Because it raises the amount of information transmitted, it is an efficient way to have a good effect with a small amount of feedback information.
