Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a passenger seat airbag cushion, and more particularly, to a passenger seat airbag cushion, which is made of only two panels, and in which a groove is formed by incorporating upper and lower sides during expansion.
In general, a vehicle is equipped with an airbag device that is deployed between the structure of the vehicle and the passenger at the time of an accident, so as to prevent the passenger from directly hitting the structure of the vehicle and causing injury.
Such an airbag device includes a driver's seat airbag device mounted on a steering wheel in front of the driver's seat, a passenger seat airbag device mounted on an upper side of the glove box in front of the passenger seat, and a curtain mounted along the roof rail and deployed between the door and the passenger. Airbag devices, and side airbag devices that are mounted on the armrests of seats or console boxes or doors and which are deployed to the side of passengers.
These airbag devices are operated by controlling an inflator, which is a gas generating means, by an airbag control unit (ACU) that is a controller according to a signal detected from a sensor that detects an accident of a vehicle. That is, when the gas generating medium inside the inflator is exploded by the control command of the ACU, the gas is introduced into the airbag cushion connected to the inflator, and the airbag cushion is expanded by the pressure of the gas introduced into the inflator. To protect the passengers.
By the way, the airbag cushion is usually produced by sewing two panels to be developed at the development pressure to protect the general adult in consideration of the physical conditions of the general adult. However, in the passenger seat, not only an adult but also an infant or child or an adult may have a poor physical condition, so the passenger seat airbag cushion needs to be manufactured to protect them.
In fact, in North America, passengers in passenger seats are classified as infants under 1 year old, infants under 3 years old, children under 6 years old, and 5% women, all of whom are injured by excessive deployment pressure on the passenger seat airbag cushion. The law is in place to prevent.
Therefore, the passenger seat airbag cushion is designed to sew three panels in 3D to protect not only ordinary adults but also infants under 1 year old, children under 3 years old, children under 6 years old and 5% women. have.
However, the passenger seat airbag cushion manufactured in 3D as described above has a problem in that a folding operation, which is a folding process, is manually performed to be accommodated in the airbag housing. That is, the rest of the airbag cushions, which are not the passenger seat airbag cushion, are made of 2 panels and are made in 2D, so the folding process is automatically performed using a machine that can be folded, but the 3D passenger airbag cushion is manually folded. Has been doing.
Therefore, it consists of two panels so that the folding work can be done automatically, and a passenger seat that can protect not only ordinary adults but also infants under 1 year old, infants under 3 years old, children under 6 years old and 5% women. Airbag cushions are required.
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a passenger seat airbag cushion consisting of two panels so as to automate the folding (folding) so that the two panels are flatly coupled to each other, three-dimensionally deployed when inflated.
