Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE
In general, a crash pad is disposed outside an instrument panel in which an instrument panel, an audio device, an air conditioner, and the like are installed.
In addition, a windshield glass is disposed in front of the driver's seat and the passenger seat to secure an external view and to prevent foreign substances, rain, snow, and wind from entering the cabin.
In summer or winter, the air conditioner is running to lower or raise the temperature in the cabin. However, when the air conditioner is operated, moisture or ice snow may form on the windshield glass due to a temperature difference inside and outside the vehicle compartment.
As described above, in order to remove moisture or ice snow formed on the windshield glass, a defroster grill for discharging the air conditioned in the air conditioner to the windshield glass is installed on the crash pad.
On the other hand, when the vehicle collides with the pedestrian, the pedestrian is injured by hitting his head against the windshield glass while falling over the hood, which is a door that opens and closes the engine room.
Therefore, in recent years, the safety test that can lower the impact of the pedestrian when the vehicle collides with the pedestrian has been strictly conducted.
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a deep grill apparatus that improves the pedestrian collision performance and the windshield glass defrosting performance.
The problems of the present invention are not limited to the above-mentioned problems, and other problems not mentioned can be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the following description.
In order to achieve the above object, the deep grill apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention, a crash pad disposed in the vehicle room adjacent to the windshield glass, a vent hole for discharging air to the windshield glass is formed, the crash The pad is disposed in contact with the windshield glass, and a part of the contact portion of the windshield glass is spaced apart from the windshield glass, and includes a deep grill that forms an auxiliary hole between the windshield glass and the windshield glass.
Specific details of other embodiments are included in the detailed description and drawings.
In the deep grill apparatus according to the present invention, an auxiliary hole is formed between the deep grill and the windshield glass, thereby reducing the impact when a pedestrian hits the windshield glass.
In addition, since the air is discharged to the windshield glass through the auxiliary hole as well as the vent hole formed in the deep grill, the defrosting performance of removing moisture or ice snow formed on the windshield glass may be improved.
The effects of the present invention are not limited to the above-mentioned effects, and other effects that are not mentioned will be clearly understood by those skilled in the art from the description of the claims.
