본 발명은 무기물이 혼합된 폴리에스터 원단의 염색성을 향상시키기 위한 염색방법에 관한 것이다.

폴리에스터 섬유는 합성섬유 중에서 가장 널리 사용되는 섬유이다. 보통 폴리에스터 섬유의 광택을 저하시켜 일반 합성섬유보다 보다 더 자연스러운 광택을 발현시키기 위해 무기물을 혼합방사하여 불투명하게 만든다. Polyester fiber is the most widely used fiber among synthetic fibers. 광택을 저하시키기 위해 대표적으로 사용되는 폴리에스터의 소광제는 TiO2로서 소량만 첨가되어도 폴리에스터의 광택을 저하시킬 수 있다. 이뿐 아니라 TiO2 대신에 다른 기능성을 갖는 무기 입자를 폴리에스터 섬유와 혼합방사하게 되면 원사 자체에 기능성을 갖는 기능성 원사가 만들어진다. 무기 입자는 폴리에스터 섬유에 소량 첨가되어 고분자의 결정형성 속도를 증가시켜 물성에 영향을 줄 수 있으며, 이러한 물성의 변화로 인해 염색 특성이 변하게 된다.
