PURPOSE: A metal thin film plastic card is provided to prevent discoloration and degeneration caused by long use by using a characteristic of a metal printing sheet attached to a surface of the plastic card. CONSTITUTION: A metal printing sheet(11) is formed by printing characters and figures on a metal thin film. An insulation sheet(12) is composed of a synthetic resin sheet. An inlay sheet(13) includes an antenna coil(13b) on a border of an IC chip(13a). A bottom printing sheet(14) is formed by printing characters and figures on the synthetic resin sheet. A coating paper(15) is attached to a bottom surface of the bottom printing sheet. The metal printing sheet, the insulation sheet, the inlay sheet, the bottom printing sheet, and the coating paper are laminated in order and adhere to each other.

The present invention relates to a metal thin film plastic card, and more particularly, to provide a high quality plastic card of high magnification by preventing damage due to invariability, high gloss divergence and scratches of the metal thin film. In addition, the present invention relates to an antenna coil and an IC chip embedded in a card so as to communicate with a reader without being interrupted by a metal thin film.

In general, a plastic card is a kind of plastic money issued to a certain member for deferring a collection of goods and services for a certain period of time. A credit card or a cash card is mainly used. It is widely used as a cash card, transportation card, or various medical cards, membership cards, etc. In Hyundai, various kinds of plastic cards differentiated according to customers' credit ratings are provided to customers.

Among them, special cards such as gold cards or platinum cards, which are produced for VIP customers with high credit ratings, are painted in gold or silver and are made to feel more elegant.

However, the above-mentioned special cards are used to mix gold powder or silver powder on the pigment so that gold and silver are displayed by the printing method. Therefore, gold powder and silver powder mixed in the pigment are pure. Not only pure gold or silver was used, but also other pigments and adhesives were mixed to obtain a high gloss texture from pure metals.

In addition, unlike pure metal, which has no change in gloss or texture, gold powder or silver powder is degraded and deteriorated due to humidity or temperature conditions, and the gloss is low. Countless scratches occur due to scratches, and thus, high quality plastic cards cannot be provided.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object thereof is to provide a metal thin plastic card which maintains the gloss and texture peculiar to the metal and does not cause scratches even if the plastic card is used for a long time.

The inlay sheet 13 is installed at the center of the plastic card 10 and serves as a PCB. An IC chip 13a is fixed to the inlay sheet 13 and an antenna coil 13b is disposed around the inlay sheet 13.

The lower printing sheet 14 is composed of a synthetic resin sheet such as PVC, another information related to the card is printed in letters and figures, and the back side is primed with magnetic tape 14a and signature paper 14b.

In particular, since the hardness is very high, it is possible to fundamentally prevent scratches caused by scratches. Therefore, high quality plastic cards for VIP customers can be maintained by maintaining high gloss even after long-term use. It can be actively utilized.

On the other hand, by attaching a reflective hologram 14c on the bottom surface of the printing sheet 14 can increase the anti-counterfeiting effect of the plastic card.
